Harassment or Not?

So I was in a game as the mafioso. One night the witch used me to kill the hypnotist on accident. We didn't know who the witch was, so we voted up someone we thought was vigi. Well when they got to the stand they said they were the witch and since I voted them up as mafia, they outed me to the entire town. Is this harassment considering they sabotaged mafia's chances of winning, bc we voted up someone we didn't know was witch? Thank you for your time and assisstance!

Well, witch admitted they are witch (As seen in the section of the rules below). So that in and of itself is gamethrowing. I am asking if it is harassment

"In game modes with only one evil faction (e.g. Ranked), if the evil faction have majority and decide to lynch the known Witch for no explicit reason, they can be reported for Hate Speech/Harassment."

But clearly under this wording what the witch did would be considered harassment!

Yes, you're asking if it's harassment. I answered that question.

From what you've said, it sounds like you were already at an evil majority (Witch wouldn't claim evil otherwise), so that's not necessarily throwing.

The Witch outed you as revenge

We didnt have majority, the witch was salty that a mafia voted them up! It was something close to 3 (Maf + Witch) v 5 (Townies)

The second one matters because it was a ranked game, with only one evil faction!

A witch outing you as mafia is not harassment. The witch can't win while dead and therefore it doesn't matter who they give up. Ranked doesn't change this.

A witch giving themselves up with no defense on the stand could be gamethrowing, however if it was that late in the game it probably wouldn't be guilty for gamethrowing either.

Again, the first standing for not being harassment seems off. You are saying the witch can't win while dead so it is not harassment. That sounds like a defense to say it is gamethrowing. To be specific, it is not harassment to give up the only team you can win with bc you are salty that one of them unknowingly voted them (That the witch knew of, two mafia voted them up). Being salty and sabotaging someone else's game is not considered harassment?

No it's not harassment. They can't win if you lynch them, which you did. Why do they have to continue to help you win when you just took away their win?

That was unknowingly we didnt know they were the witch they claimed vigi. They knew I was the mafioso... not the same. We also only voted them up we did not lynch them, if they dont tell us they are witch how are we supposed to magically have that information. You are acting like we did it on purpose and got it back in kind, that is not what happened.

Tho a dick move, witch can snitch on whoever they like when on trial, or during last words.

In your scenario witch didnt sabotage your chances of winning any more than the mafia sabotaged their chance of winning..... yea they should of fake claimed, and the maf realising the witch was alive should have innoed. But even then, witch is relying that maf are smart enough to know shes fake, and that maf are smart enough to inno.....of which, she had no guarantee (especially since 2 of the maf were dumb enough to vote in a 4v5)

To reiterate: Witch outting maf is neither HSH nor GT. Witch outting themselves on the stand is situational (they could have assumed there was evil majority).
