Remove the Spy's passive ability.

It's not needed anymore, and quite frankly, has sucked from the get go. It's an entirely passive ability, meaning it does not at all scale with skill. It spoonfeeds and handholds and gives you information that makes the mafia want to stop visiting so the Spy doesn't discern their extra power role, which is toxic as a mechanic. Just have the bug houses ability and be done with it.

As for the bug houses ability, that's a great job and much better than the old Spy.
If you have a problem with me or anything I do, tell me about it instead of ring passive aggressive. I consider most people here my friends and I'd rather not live in darkness, but try to resolve the situation. I can't hear what you don't say.

There's like 5 posts saying the exact same thing already here...

And it hasn't been stated enough.... so I have to agree with you. all of spies old abilities were broken and never should have been in the game. We put up with visits for a while longer because we felt that was just the temporary way of lessening spies broken as heck abilities while waiting for the "replacement" spy... honestly visits on their own made spy borderline too strong of a role (even in spite of all the people endlessly whining that spy can't singlehandedly crush any dreams of communicating as a not town).

If they did remove the ability it would make the spy SO Much less useful to the Town. I mean yeah it kinda sucks, but it doesn't really give away who mafia is, or the role.

Depending how late in the game it is, it gives exactly who the mafia are, by giving who the mafia aren't. It basically negates almost all RM roles.

Consig - The useful thing of consig is that it lets you know who is or isn't priority to kill. however anyone who's confirmed town is a high priority to kill. The act of checking him, makes the medium or any other normally non threatening role, quite dangerous.

Framer - Yup he does the oposite of what he's supposed to do. If there's a sheriff there's like a 10% chance he'll happen to check the framed person and think he's mafia, if there's a spy there's a 100% chance he will know that the framed person is not mafia.

Disguiser - his ability is barely worth using to begin with, Definently not worth the cost of confirming the person you are disguised asas non-maf.

Forger - well I'll admit it's already a 1 in a thousand chance of actually having what you need to actually pull off a successful forge, But if you happen to do it, the spy see's 2 visits to the killed, and thus knows the will is forged.

Consort - the town immidiately knows there is a consort (after 2 people who were visited by mafia claim RBed), and you certainly can't claim escort after that

I'd much rather have listening to whispers rather than seeing who got visited.
The current passive really only spreads misinformation rather than helping the town, and more often than not is useless at best, and town harming at worst

IT can either be good or useless. Depending on what types of mafia/ coven there is. If it's good it allows the spy to distinguish whos mafia.

Seeing the Mafia/Coven visits is a broken ability. WHich is why its requested to have it removed.
