Well I already figured that part from loomi's night plan so my plan for day 8 was to convince neko to jail someone besides arc, which would leave arc with the choice of controlling birdy off me or not, since by that point it would've been impossible for a witch to win anyway.

Nah, I think the whole merge idea is a bit difficult to plan around.

Not a fan of the length nor how often replacements might be needed.
It is a little awkward to basically play three separate games and then combine them at once. It can be a little hectic.

I'd be up for another GFM, but I'd want to wait a while before it's hosted. Back to normal games for a while would be nice

I agree with Arc about waiting to see the changes. The merge is the biggest problem and that's bad considering that it's the central mechanic. Willing to give it another shot, though.

I wish that everything wasn't so figured out by the time we merged. I mean, the game was practically decided once we merged as the neutral killings and mafia were/were about to be found out.

The only thing that possibly could have changed the outcome was the bomber, and thats just because the bomber can change a course of the game on a dime.

When the merge happened, the game practically decided. I don't think any improvisations would have fixed that, save for bomber. If it wasn't decided in town favor, it'd most likely be mafia and then whatever neutral came along. If their was a way to combat this, I'd love to see in the next GFM. Otherwise I think I'll just stick to regular games.

Plus, if you die early in GFM you've got less chances for games for a long while.

Honestly it would be best for scum to stay hidden as long as possible even if it means no-killing to preserve the relative anonymity and safety of having the town to blend in with. Business scum got screwed because they destroyed their district. So the key for scum would be to do well, but not destroy.

But you aren't sabotaging yourself. You are making sure you don't become obvious after the merge. If there was no mass graveyard, then the scum could make up whatever rolelist they want. But they can't.

It doesn't work that way with town, though. They're actually rewarded for doing well, unlike scum. It's not like town has to avoid lynching too many scum or they'll lose. I agree that not killing as many town was the best strategy in this situation, but that shouldn't be the best strategy in the first place.
