Each night you may visit a player, taking all their pain, suffering and other effects characters try to enact on them onto yourself. Being as steadfast as you are, you will survive any attacks that are redirected, not limited to your ability.
Also, I just realized that we might need to put some thought into this more so because we don't know Swords alignment yet, so it might be better hold off on giving him the extra ability. Just a thought.
And it is, but then, you might be target to redirect the attack to someone else.
Saving Leyva's ability is probably a good idea. As for Neasans, she should probably either interrogate someone without a night action or save it.
Also, this is still important.

I really wish I could whisper right now. Damnit. Theoretically, if all the protectives and Neasans were town, an infinite circle of protection could be formed...
Spoiler:Somewhere beyond the sea Somewhere waiting for me
As a role blocker, should I use my ability? I'd think my ability really only does anything when we have suspects. Seeing as I only block the natural abilities, anyway.

You could roleblock someome who doesn't have a night action.

What good would that do ?
Could stop a mafia kill, I think only the SK's kills are immune to roleblocking.

I'm thinking the same goes for the mafia ... ? :? Maybe not, since they sacrifice their ability ? If that's the case then I understand the purpose. If that was stated somewhere then I'm sorry for being blind /sob
Well, those players are logically the ones which would carry out the kill due to lack of night actions. Mafia knowing that there's a roleblocker that's blocking people without night actions forces them to either have a player that would normally be able to carry through a night action or risk being roleblocked from their kill, which could be helpful depending on what roles mafia has.

That's what makes me think so. Ryu would be pretty useless to the town if Mafia and SK kills weren't prevented by roleblocking.

Ryu- works better with an unknown target Mario- can't act Hunter- works better with an unknown target (investigative) Drake- works better with an unknown target, if at all Wright- can't act Joel- works better with an unknown target (investigative) Link- works better with an unknown target (protective) Kirby- can't act for now Samus- works better with an unknown target, pretty much (investigative) Snake- target will likely be revealed anyway if we decide to claim, but might be better as unknown Cortana- works better with an unknown target Wander- works better with an unknown target Altair- target will likely be revealed anyway if we decide to claim, but might be better as unknown Robin- can't act Marston- can't act
Assigning targets sounds like a nice idea... but essentially every role except maybe Snake and Altair work better with unknown targets. Well, it's probably better if Drake and Ryu don't act at all, but for now assigning targets doesn't really help. It's looking like assigning targets just gives Mafia/Serial Killer room to interfere. Of course, even if Ryu can stop the Mafia kill and can act, assigning a target is still a bad idea since it lets the Mafia work around it.
Revealing our targets in the morning sounds like a good idea though.
Also, if Phoenix/Nelly isn't Town, that's... fairly bad.

So, I guess Cow should pick someone without an ability to target. Although, does the Mafia sacrifice one of their abilities to kill or do they not? That's a pretty relevant issue, so /summon Met
Anyway, Night, technically, depending on who is what alignment, no actions should be given, but what does that leave us to work with besides reads?
All non-charged abilities are 100% compulsive. Ergo if you can use it, you must use it. Samus, Snake, Robin, Altair and John Marston are the only exceptions to this.
Mafia must sacrifice their night ability to kill if there are more than one of them remaining, this killing action can be roleblocked.
Since we don't want Ryu blocking a protective or investigative, it would be best if he roleblocked a role without a night action, as stated above. He could still potentially block a mafia kill without stopping potential Town roles.

You've been selected to be a Mafia member, your goal is to destroy the town and those who oppose you. You may speak to your follow mafia members at night and one of you may sacrifice your night action to perform a kill each night. If there is only one mafia member left you will not have to sacrifice your action.
Also I'm all for being roleblocked to prove I'm not mafia.
