The Glorious Evolution


Rules:

0. All of Guzame's Rules (here) apply to this game. If you notice someone breaking the rules, please link the offending post(s) with an explanation in a PM to LeScraf and ValeforRaine.

1. Be respectful. This is meant to be a fun game, so please don't insult or harass other members for any reason.

2. Please do not spam. This is a discussion based game, so it's expected it will be moving quickly at times, but remember that not everyone is always on. It can be difficult to keep up with and spam only makes it worse. Just keep this in mind as you play.

3. Do not gamethrow. This covers any action which goes against your role's goals, with the exception of when it is impossible for you to win. If you have any questions about this (now or during the game), please PM me. Breaking this rule can result in being blacklisted from future games.

4. We will give prods to players who do not post for 36 hours. Players will be given 18 hours to respond by posting in the thread. Not responding to a prod or receiving a second prod means removal from the game. I also expect everyone to post at least once Day 1; anyone who doesn't should PM me during the first 12 hours of night (I'll put a reminder in the day end post) or they will be prodded.

5. Whispers, Death Notes, Last Wills, and Day/Night Actions should all be sent to me with appropriate subjects ("Whisper to ____", "Death Note", "Last Will", "Day Action", "Night Action"). They also should be sent in separate PMs. I won't be searching your "Last Will" PM for night actions, for example.

6. All PMs should be sent to both ValeforRaine and LeScraf or they will be considered invalid.

7. Each player gets 4 whispers a day. Each whisper has a hard character limit of 200 characters. We're going to be strict about it. If you would like to send more than 200 characters, you must ask to use additional whispers. If it requires more than one whisper and you don't specify you want to use more, I will ask you about it, delaying your whisper. I'll be using this site to check character limits. Make sure to include the recipient of your whisper; it will be posted publicly in the thread once it's been sent.

8. Flavor text is from the perspective of the players. It should not be used to deduce anything about the role list or a given player's role. This rule is especially important.

9. Finally, this is not an official episode. No titles will be awarded to the victors.

Armed - Has a 1 shot gun.
Prepared - Starts with a self use vest.

Voting:
Double Voter - Two Votes
Beloved - X number of votes needed on top of majority to lynch you.
Hated - X number of votes needed below majority to lynch you.
Vengeful - ability to shot any player of their choice the night after they are lynched.

Investigative:
Suspicious - Appears to be framed to investigatives.
Mild Mannered - Appears as a Citizen or NS to investigatives.

Nocturnal Active:
Compulsive - Must always submit a night action.
Odd - Can only act on odd nights or days.
Even - Can only act on even nights or days.

Nocturnal Passive:
Macho - Cannot be healed or protected.
Ascetic - All actions other than killing related fail.
Strong willed - Your night actions will always hit the intended target. (roleblock, witch and transport immunity)
Vocal - All night actions originally against you cannot be changed. (roleblock, witch and transport immunity for those targeting you)

As most of you know, all the current role cards are here. In the spoiler below is the additions made for Modifiers:

And in the spoiler below is the new Stalker Role Card, the buffed Godfather Role Card, and the Marshal role card we'll be using.

(This role is still in the experimental stages ~ It will not yet appear in Episodes for the time being.)

You are a Marshal

Your alignment is Town Protective.

Once a figurehead of the law, you experienced a horrific accident and have vowed not to kill anymore. Instead you decide to use your presence as a deterrent to these thugs that have rooted themselves in your hometown.

Each night you may choose to follow a player. Your presence scares one malicious person from targeting them.
You will be informed if you protected your target from any role with the exception of Mafia Deception, and whoever you scare away will be notified regardless of their role.
Should your target be visited by multiple people with malicious intent, only one will flee. (Mafia Deception > Witch/Escort/Consort > Killing Roles)
Unless you are successful, guarding a player twice in a row will allow killing roles to slip through.
Stalker's ignore your presence as they fear nothing.

You win with Survivors
You must kill the Mafia
You must kill Arsonists
You must kill Witches
You must kill Serial Killers
You must kill Stalkers
You must kill Bombers
You may spare anyone else


Godfather

You are the Godfather

Your alignment is Mafia Killing

You are the lord of crime in this town, and have decided that it belongs to the mafia.
You try to achieve this by systematically killing off one of the citizens each night.

You are unkillable at night. If somebody tries to attack you, they will receive a message saying that you were immune.
You have the ability to order one death each night, which a Mafioso will carry out for you.
As the leader of the Mafia every other member will report to you what happened to them each night.
If there are no Mafiosos left, or they're unable to kill for whatever reason, you will kill your target yourself.
You can communicate with your allies each night, for as long as they are alive.

You win with the Mafia
You win with Survivors
You win with Witches
You must kill the Town
You must kill Arsonists
You must kill Serial Killers
You must kill Stalkers
You must kill Bombers
You may spare anyone else


Stalker

(This role is still in the experimental stages ~ It will not yet appear in Episodes for the time being.)

You are a Stalker.

Your alignment is Neutral Killing.

You are a creepy person who hides in the shadows and follows people around them until they die.
You are an incredibly feared individual who can instill paranoia in even the most hardened of people.

Each phase, you may stalk one person.
Each of your stalked targets will commit suicide four phases after you begin stalking them.
Your targets will not know they are being stalked, until they commit suicide.
You may stalk a new target each phase, and your past targets will all commit suicide over the paranoia that you have caused them.
Your method of killing ignores night immunity, and any Town Protectives trying to stop this attack will fail to do so.
You are night immune. You are also immune to stalking.
If someone tries to roleblock you (including the Jailor), you will stalk your roleblocker and your original target.
Once you begin stalking a target, nothing can save them unless you die before the night they decide to commit suicide.

As the residents of Salem awoke, some of them noticed something was off...

Incisions. Some of the members of the Town had incisions in their arm. What they were, nobody knew. However, the Town decided ignore this problem and focus on the much bigger threat: the invading Mafia.

Twenty people stood, looking at each other. Who was aligned with the Town? Who was aligned with the Mafia? Who was aligned with nobody? The answers would become clear soon.

Day 1 has begun! 24 hours remain.
Day 1 will end at 3:30 PM EDT (UTC -4) on June 4th.

Asking about mods doesn't seem to imply actually having a mod.

Reading through the list makes me curious, though. If one of the usable modifications is possessed by a role with a night actions, can both actions be performed on the same night?
