6E: The Spectre's Sidewalk

Long had the city been left to rust and crumble, the allyways filled with crime and anywhere else was not that much better, although you couldn't ask for much in these times. People that once cared became complacent, ignorant of just what was happening. They were the honest hard working type they strived to make a living here, it was difficult but possible. The Mafia on the other hand were slowly taking over unbeknownst. They had designs to take over the whole sector, and with less people it meant more food, shelter and water. A grand place for a base of operations. Only the Mafia and original Town never expected one thing: a murderer stalking the streets...

1) This is not an official game, therefore titles will not be awarded. Mod rants may not be guaranteed either.

2) After 36 hours if a player has not posted I will prod them for inactivity. If they do not reply or post within 18 hours they will be replaced. If I prod them again, they will be replaced.

3) Players will have two, two-hundred word limit whispers each day. Send a private message to me with the whisper and the intended recipient. It will be posted in the main thread when sent. Make them count.

4) Last wills and death notes will also be used. PM me with the subject line as "Death Note" or "Last Will" if this is not followed then I can't guarentee your note will be posted. Any role that kills has the option for a death note.

5) I do not tolerate game throwing. You will be blacklisted from future games if you attempt to do this. Refer here for more on that and the general rules. This can include "Jesting".

6) Keep it in the game thread. Do not use anything offsite such as automatic coders, please do not use other events outside of the game that players are not privy to as a means to secretly communicate.
IE: "Hey, target the person who I told you the name of yesterday in a pm."

7) Please don't avidly spam the thread. No one can get a word in edgewise and it becomes a mess if everyone is doing it.

8) Just have fun and be respectful. Do I really need to tell you this?


Investigation Results

Your target has advanced knowledge in the field of science! They have to be a Retributionist, or Bomber
Your target watches over people at night! They must be a Lookout, Marshal or Stalker.
Your target deals with highly sensitive information! They have to be an Spy, or Agent.
Your target has a fondness for knives! They must be a Doctor, or Serial Killer.
Your target actually wants to die! They must be a Jester, or Phantom.
Your target is a protector of the Town! They have to be a Jailor, or Lawyer.
Your target has forged documents! They can only be a Framer.
Your target abides the laws quietly! They are a just a Citizen.

Changes

Godfather - Sees all night results/actions their underlings see. They pick their Mafioso order Night 1.
Stalker - Can use their ability during the day to stalk someone. Victims die 4 phases after being stalked.
Marshal is in play.

Your alignment is Mafia Killing

You are the lord of crime in this town, and have decided that it belongs to the mafia.
You try to achieve this by systematically killing off one of the citizens each night.

You are unkillable at night. If somebody tries to attack you, they will receive a message saying that you were immune.
You have the ability to order one death each night, which a Mafioso will carry out for you.
As the leader of the Mafia every other member will report to you what happened to them each night. You may also assign promotion ranks to the members in the event you pass on.
If there are no Mafiosos left, or they're unable to kill for whatever reason, you will kill your target yourself.
You can communicate with your allies each night, for as long as they are alive.

Stalker

(This role is still in the experimental stages ~ It will not yet appear in Episodes for the time being.)

You are a Stalker.

Your alignment is Neutral Killing.

You are a creepy person who hides in the shadows and follows people around them until they die.
You are an incredibly feared individual who can instill paranoia in even the most hardened of people.

Each phase, you may stalk one person.
Each of your stalked targets will commit suicide four phases after you begin stalking them.
Your targets will not know they are being stalked, until they commit suicide.
You may stalk a new target each phase, and your past targets will all commit suicide over the paranoia that you have caused them.
Your method of killing ignores night immunity, and any Town Protectives trying to stop this attack will fail to do so.
You are night immune. You are also immune to stalking.
If someone tries to roleblock you (including the Jailor), you will stalk your roleblocker and your original target.
Once you begin stalking a target, nothing can save them unless you die before the night they decide to commit suicide.

Marshal

You are a Marshal

Your alignment is Town Protective.

Once a figurehead of the law, you experienced a horrific accident and have vowed not to kill anymore. Instead you decide to use your presence as a deterrent to these thugs that have rooted themselves in your hometown.

Each night you may choose to follow a player. Your presence scares one malicious person from targeting them.
You will not be informed if you protected your target, but whoever you scare away will be notified.
Should your target be visited by multiple people with malicious intent, only one will flee. (Mafia Deception > Escort/Consort > Killing Roles)
However, Stalkers and Serial Killers will ignore your presence since they fear nothing.

Things weren't easy in Salem, governement issued jobs were just about all that one could get legally, the rations were normally pale and always read "sweet", "sour", "salty" or "bitter" on the packaging. Thankfully most made ends meet with only the occasional ration, hoarding their cards for a more desperate time or for trading. No one used to be afraid of the dark either. But with rumors going about a psychopath who's sweeping the streets, it's to be expected. Most didn't buy in, you here a lot of rumors these days, better to be safe then sorry though. That's what Salem and America learned. Then the strangest thing happened. Someone died.

Metrion, an older resedent. He had shot himself in an ally, red ink splattered against the decaying brick wall, coloured like it was new. On him was a note.

Upon further inspection, Metrion also had a seal on him. It was that of the Godfather, the head of a crime syndicate. What could it mean?
