Is it gamethrowing to say youre the SK?

I was in a game the other day and I have a little fun thing I do whenever I get SK. I claim that I am SK and say to everyone that I am not going to kill anyone because then technically Im not a serial killer if I never kill anyone. Well I tried to get on today and found out I was suspended for "gamethrowing". My question is, how is that gamethrowing? How is what I did gonna ruin the experience or the chances of winning for anyone else? I can maybe see how it would be annoying for mafia but still. I am my only team mate when I am SK. Me claiming sk doesnt hurt anyone but myself. I am very confused as to how this is gamethrowing and I do not plan on stopping.

You may be a solo-team (unless you're playing a Custom Mode, in which case there could be multiple SKs), but you still influence the outcome for the other 14 players of the game, and that could make either faction win or lose.

Gamethrowing, per definition, is the act of going against your role's set goal. As SK you're supposed to kill everyone. Not doing that, in your case, is straight-up, point-blank Gamethrowing.

you also dont realise how much that extra kill from the SK helps the other evil factions and players, so yea it does hurt their chances of winning

You should always play to win; other players will be negatively impacted if you try to lose. In a Ranked rolelist, for example, a gamethrowing Neutral Killing makes the game boring for Town and almost unwinnable for Mafia. Whether you have teammates or not, gamethrowing will change the outcome of the game.

Players should be able to play based on the assumption that other players will try at least a little to complete their own win condition.
