Any PB strategy for CAA?

Tell me a good CAA strategy for PB.

Sometimes I claim Tracker, and don't visit anybody to start off with. When somebody visits you (you will see that you infect them), you can then whisper to them that you're Tracker and that you saw them visit you. This should 'confirm' you for the time being. Lay low for a while, let other evils kill Town and each other. Turn Pestilence lategame and get any Survivors/Executioners/Jesters/Pirate to side with you.

Remember that since Tracker does match your investigative results, people might suspect you as the Pestilence once your transformation is announced. Once you turn, deflect the blame as long as possible and kill anybody who prioritises lynching you. if there's multiple evils lategame, prioritise killing them rather than a lingering townie, as they're reasonably likely to side with you over Mafia/Coven.

Dont claim anything on the invest results.... chances are the ''invest'' is a consig or PM, and knows your true role anyway. Try to target transporters early, or any role claim that would visit different players (chances are they will visit medusa/veteran for you). Or target any claims that would attract a lot of visitors. The sooner you turn Pest, the better.

If you have been attacked, chances are whichever faction attacked you, will start pushing you as soon as a Pestilence is confirmed, so the faster you turn, the better. Any tracker or LO claim will be insta lynched. Try not to target nuetral roles or afks/non voters once youve turned. Target players that you need dead to win, you can win with live NEs and NBs, so killing them is a waste of a night. Go for the loudest players who are pushing for claims.

As for claiming, late game, your best bet is to claim a confirmed role, that hasnt been claimed yet or else POE will get you hung, especially if there are a lot of coven or maf still alive - they know who they are, so throwing the pest sus at one of them is pointless, if 3 are alive, thats 2 votes you wont get on them, and they will know your claim is impossible if there are confirmed roles (like if there was a crus kill, and no dead crus. Or someone died to trap, and no dead trapper. Someone was revived and no dead ret etc. etc. Or trapper saw his trap was busted by sheriff and doc, and neither role is dead).

The thing with All Any is, that claim space gets limited late game when it gets confirmed that certain roles exist in the match. A lot of noobs still sit there late game, and think their fake claim is possible because ''its All Any'' This is where factions gain an advantage because they know their factions roles, even tho their claims are fake, and if they know of confirmed roles, then they know whether your claim is existent or not. eg. So when theres 8 players left, and youre claiming Medium (or anything), when theres 3 coven, a confirmed trapper who said there was a sheriff and a doc, and an escort who just RBed the trapper, then the 3 coven know for sure that you are the one to push... So you have to claim doc or sheriff to fool the coven and hope the town doesnt vote either of you.... OR just get in early and push coven from the get go.

Generally I agree to avoid claiming anything on your investigative results like the plague no pun intended but the Tracker claim does combo really nicely with the infection mechanic.
If anything it's a drawback that it shares the same results, otherwise this might be more viable.

Yea, this works well until n3, when there are so many infected (if youre playing it right) that you dont know who visited who. So while it may save your ass as Plagubearer, late game a tracker claim will more than likely get you lynched, especially if there are confirmed roles in the match.

So just had a Pest win yesterday...

there was PM, CL, me (the Pest), a tracker, medium, some townie and his GA alive when I turned pest - 7 players. I hadnt claimed anything yet.. PM had claimed Invest day 2 and had convinced town that there was an arso. There had been CL kills, and I figured there was a PM altho I dont think they killed.

The ''Pestilence is Here!!'' announcement shows, and the panic kicks in:
PM pushed the tracker for a claim. He claimed tracker, showed will - insta lynched. I killed the medium that night, as he hadnt claimed (thinking they were coven). (5 players left)
CL started pushing me the next day, I got voted up,claimed Arso (thanks to the PMs scare tactics) somehow managed to convince the townie and the GA to inno me, or else they would be outnumbered the next day... they innoed XD
CL controlled me to myself that night and died (I was targeting them anyway... guess they were hoping for PM to heal them) GA used thier last protect. (4 players left)
Next morning I complain that GA keeps purging my douses... the townie is convinced that Im arso (thanks to the PMs own rumour) so that the PM must be Pest...rip PM.
I kill the GAs target that night....GG.

So there you go, the best thing to claim as Pest, is Arsonist ^^

My best PB Strategy for CAA. (I've won like 6 games back to back as PB using this strategy) Is to go with a sweet simple psychic claim then ask for Tp Lo. Psychics are the one role that is often and easily faked but is never suspected. Due to the ammount of evils in CAA your chances of the psychic will having an evil in it is extremely likely and credible. Towns often won't shed an eye to you being potential scum.

It works even better if you memorized the feedback obtained by psychic. Using this strategy of Tp Lo you can easily infect quickly and put shade to frame other in the endgame assuming you survive long enough. Its actually shocking but psychic works extremely well. Honestly Psychic is practically my own PB claim in CAA. I havn't concidered other strategies.
