I still feel so blind when it comes to the investigations, only reason why I chose Nightingale was because they saw Mia last, no other reason. The rest was all character flair.
Side note, if you ever find out my characters backstory, its based off real events of 2 Idols, I am just trying to figure out how they both went through it

Daily Life 3 (Aw, Fuck, I Can't Believe You've Done This)

The second night passes, and the next morning arrives. Once again, the class ends up in the cafeteria, save for Seishin. Melek and Aamdeus are actually here this time... hooray? That's a good or bad thing, depending on your point of view. As for the cafeteria itself, it doesn't look much different from yesterday, save for that weird clay model that Nightingale had mentioned building, and Rin’s name carved into a table.
Speaking of which, Rin is seated at that very table, looking rather cheery. Josephine is at the same table, and back in her robotic mood. Ten is quietly seated at the table on the other side of the room, by the door to the infirmary, and Amadeus is at the other table by the infirmary door, keeping an eye on Ten. Daniel is at the table closest to the door to the lobby, having resolved to use a butter knife to neatly cut his toast, to his displeasure. Melek is at the center table, looking over the “painting” that’s still on said table, and Alfie is at the same table with a cup of water and cereal.

*Kzzt*.
”Good morning, killing game participants! If you haven’t noticed, Hawk isn’t here. That’s intentional. Just to let you know, the whole “kill or someone dies” thing is still in effect. However, I’m taking away the motive that Hawk added, mostly to spite her. Not like that’ll stop anyone from killing, I’m sure. Anyways, I’d say more, but I’m holding off on that until... next chapter, I’m thinking. Enjoy the feeling of impending doom!”

Ten remains quiet in the corner and furiously types away at his cellphone, a determined look is on his face

Rin just sits on her chair with a smile on her face, as if she were a girl in a picnic. When she sees Ten typing about in his phone she waves at him.

Yep, Josephine is once again back in robot mode. However, for some reason she keeps rhythmically tapping at her mask...

After a few minutes, she stands up and goes over to the model created by the now deceased Nightingale, tilting her head as she stares at it. Then, quick as lightning, she lashes out with her machete, cleaving the model in half.

Seemingly satisfied, she returns to her seat and resumes tapping.

Maybe it could be intentional, maybe they want us to try to escape. I know it's probably just wishful thinking, but there must be an alternative way out without killing anyone.

"You really think so? I would've assumed that looking at 4 dead bodies would've made you believe otherwise. Those deaths weren't carefully enacted fakes y'know."

I suppose I could go and open that secret door now that Penegrine gave me the last puzzle piece I needed. However that would remove any leverage I have of staying alive.
You see as far as I am concerned, this game we keep playing leads to nothing but death and betrayal, so behind that door is probably more of the same.
I don't want to open it.

Ten looks up at the group finally and smiles
And since I burnt the paper that had the second piece of the code on, my memory is the only thing currently keeping the code safe. If something were to happen to me then well.... no one gets to open that door.

That being said, I am taking tonight off, I have not been feeling well with good reason, I need to get my focus back in order.

Melek leaves the room. Shortly after, the intercom comes on.
"Pardon me while I thwart an attempted rescue."

The metal barrier that initially blocked you when you first showed up slides up in front of the lobby door. That means you won't be able to get into that room... and that's the door Melek just went through...

Nightly Life has begun, and the blackened knows who they are. Send me your first actions. Once all first actions are sent, no more posting in the thread until Deadly Life.
You have 24 hours to send me your first action.
Remember: you start in your dorm rooms at the start of every Nightly Life, save for Seishin, who is still in the infirmary.
Also, ChamAlien (Melek) is being replaced due to inactivity, which I will process as soon as I get in contact with a replacement. Remember, as stated in the rules, spending a phase inactive gets one modkilled.

From beyond the lobby door, there are sounds of... gunshots? And destruction? Could this be rescue?
Once the mayhem quiets, you all wait anxiously. Maybe this is the end of the torment...

"I'm back. Nightmare seems to think that she can trap me. She can't. Either way, the lobby has been entirely destroyed by an unhinged lunatic."
From beyond the door, Nightmare can be heard yelling, "YOU SHOW YOURSELF AND I'LL SHOW YOU UNHINGED!"
"Cute, but not now. I should inform you all that three people attempted to enter the building to rescue you all. Nightmare put an end to that and killed 2 of the people in there. One of whom being Melek, since she had wandered inside the room. However, the other two are still alive, and will be brought into the killing game shortly."

Shortly after, the metal wall slides down, revealing a cloud of dust. Two individuals are shoved into the room- a man and a woman. Shortly after, Nightmare enters the room as well, and the metal wall slides back upwards.
Nightmare grins and holds up an eyeball. "Hey, Ten. I kept my promise."
