The discussion of Tactical Mafia has to do with this topic; we're trying to decide which one would benefit the game more (or if either would benefit it at all).

DragonClaw66,while your rework does make mafia more effective,it makes them too effective. It means mafia is almost impossible to stop from killing.

For that reason, having only one faction killer would provide mafia the cover they need for their jailed/role blocked comrade, while also not making mafia an unstoppable beast and removing the Escorts whole purpose.

I do believe that Tactical Mafia keeps the power of the Escort. In the current game, it is impossible to block a Mafia kill (as an Escort) until the Godfather or Mafioso dies. In the reworked version, you only have to select one Mafia member (that member is almost always the TG Godfather). Once you block a single kill, you can tell the Town who you roleblocked and figure out whether or not it was coincidence or a successful distraction. The Escort still retains the ability to block the discovered evil's ability if they, for some reason, were not lynched. Additionally, I want to point out that while the Escort has the ability to stop Mafia kills, its job is merely to discover the killing role via the roleblock, not continuously distract them.

Not really. It did at first, but you've deteriorated into an in-depth discussion of your tactical mafia concept in this thread, which isn't appropriate.

Go make a competing thread. (Actually, ima see if a moderator will handle this. Moving the posts would be cleaner.)

DragonClaw is fine talking about it here. It is a good concept to bring and go in-depth about because Tactical Mafia Kills is a concept that is way better your idea, and does a better job of making the mafia immune to roleblocks in general.

Let him discuss it here. There's nothing wrong with it.

It's not like there's anything else to go in-depth about with your horrible idea anyway. The flaws have already been pointed out by the 1st few posters.

Tactical mafia kills isn't a direct competitor to my idea, because it's a much bigger change (maybe the devs don't want to change that much), and it doesn't help a lone godfather with finishing off a dying town that contains a Jailor. On the other hand, it does help the Mafia against an Escort, which my idea doesn't do at all. The two ideas have different purposes, and different drawbacks (though also some overlap).

I consider tactical mafia kills a very good idea that simply doesn't work as a reason to reject my idea. If anyone wants to criticize the idea of tactical mafia kills specifically, though, that criticism belongs in this thread: Tactical Mafia Kills (Suggestions)

What was that an analogy to ?
I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To hang them is my real test
and surviving is my cause.

I live every day,
Talking day and night.
To each dead folk,to understand
What the fuck they said about my mom.

MEDIUM (gotta hang them all) it's you and me
MEDIUM,I know its my destiny
MEDIUM, oh you're all dead
With the dead I share my bread.

This thread, and it wasn't an analogy.
