Welcome to Brozni. A small planet in the Pliqira sector, it holds a population of 4 billion, and occupies a strategic position for control of the sector. As the failing Ashurribet Empire withdraws its troops to maintain order and control on the home front, several other factions have descended. Some seek to control the planet, others seek to trade with it, and still others come for more nefarious purposes of their own.
Mechanics Spoiler:This is a Turn Based Strategy game, where each player controls a faction with a set of statistics, and an objective. These will be sent to players individually, with the exception of one below.
Each turn, players will move their troops, and may, if they choose, use a stunt. Stunts are short (500 words or less) RP actions that will grant bonuses in combat or whatever action they are currently taking.
Combat is decided by a roll off, with each army rolling 1d100, and then bonuses (such as from stunts) are added in.
Players may make alliances, but some players have incompatible objectives, so be careful about revealing your objective, and be wary of who you make alliances with.
Turns will last 48 hours, after which, prods will be sent every 24 hours. If you receive more than 2 prods you will be replaced.
Map Spoiler:
Red dots are minor population centers, black dots are major population centers which is why they're named, and blue dots are military installations.
Factions Spoiler:The Imperial Concord (Bluedetroyer) The Imperial Concord is a new-born stellar empire who utilizes penal legions to fight and die for them. Five such legions now tread the soil of Brozni, bringing war and death.
The Accord (Chemist1422) The Accord is a mercenary guild who fight for coin and plunder. They've mustered nearly a hundred companies of varying sizes.
The Ivory Coalition (GrumpyGoomba) The Ivory Coalition is a group of nobles from the shattered remnants of Ashurribet, who command their personal forces in battle.
The Silver Union (BRVR) The Silver Union is a large group of trade unions from Brozni that have taken up arms.
The Prime Worlds (Jalandh) The Prime Worlds is a secessionist movement from the Ashurribet Empire, that has brought it's large artillery companies to the war.
The Fundamentalist Ascendancy (NPC/TakumiHijirihara) A group of religious fanatics that follow the tenets of the Second Divine, they've brought thousands of utterly loyal troops.
Factions are first come first serve, except for the Fundamentalist Ascendancy, which have an unachieveable objective, and will be operated by TakumiHijirihara as an NPC faction of sorts.
I welcome any questions.
