I was kicked back 30 Elo for this

My whole game was doing weird stuff, everyone was invisible, I couldn't see my role card, buttons, etc (I was rolled jailor, fml.) Night 1 rolls in and the game just flat-out crashes. I got kicked back 30 Elo over something I had no power on.

Well at least leavers begone. What OS are you using, how long have you had it, how good is your internet, and how much was your internet being used at the time. This will help seeing what the problem was for later

Google chrome on windows 10. Got glass-fiber internet cable, 100mb/s. I have near a THOUSAND games on this setup, and this is the first time this happened to me.

Also, I didn't leave. The game crashed.

The elo loss probably relates to this:

Ranked Leavers(Next Patch)
We have been getting reports of ranked players frequently leaving matches early because the ELO loss of certain factions is low. Leaving a match early (still alive) will now result in a maximum k-factor loss of ELO regardless of role/faction. For bronze this is 30 ELO and for masters it is 15 ELO.

Are they? They ll just afk now until they get hanged. Just lost a Ranked game as mafia where we were headed for victory (SK was jailed, killed jailor and got hanged, there was witch, and we killed + cleaned transporter with no Mayor / Retri, leaving town in disarray) because GF was afk all game until he was hanged and Mafioso was afk except from n1.

Tell me about it I'm in Masters where at best I get +5 elo. Most often it's +1. My game tends to freeze. I dunno why, but it happens like once a week (I'm on steam), however -15 elo is no joke when you only make +1 usually I am going down and down.

This happened to me on 2 other occasions one freeze and one miss load, this is -60 elo, I'd have been 2700 by now.

Clearly another bad move on bmg's part.
I don't play anymore,but man it's a disaster to see how they never listen to the community

When i suggested to have a time suspension each game one leaves in ranked (1game=5 minutes 2games=15
3 games= 1 hour 4 games = 1day
With tiers resetting every 3 hours or a day.Leave too many games you still get the reports to mods,that will decide if you get a ban or not) they said no it'll just punish people who have disconnection...but honestly i don't see him waiting 5 minutes to requeue any worse than losing 15 elo (and at master it matters as you win 3/4 if you are lucky nk's elo is higher than town's average) .

So basically bmg thinks people play ranked games yo potentially lose more elo than what they can win should their connection have a minimum problem (since yet no reconnection feature), and that said people cannot wait 5 minutes should this happen.

As user above said they'll just afk instead of leaving,which is way more damaging to the game.

This game is as good as dead.
I don't see a day where this game will have a satisgied playerbase,without being filled with afks and trolls....

This is very sad...i always liked this game.
