Anarchist (+6900 views!)

So this is role that I think would definitely add a bit of a wild factor. Although I thought of his goals but I can't seem to think of his skills.

Anarchist

Alignment: Neutral(Evil)

Abilities: Mob Mentality doubles everybody's votes.

Attributes: Can only use the ability three times

Goal: See all who maintain organization die. Includes: Consigiliere, Godfather, Investigators, Jailor, Mayor, and Sheriff.

Wins Condition: All the above roles must die while the Anarchist is alive. Then they will win with everyone.

Fluff: In and out of orphanages since he was five, he's always detested rules and those who enforce them. He was always an outcast and was never understood. His anarchy spree was cut short when he was arrested and jailed. After escaping from the Jailor he promise himself he would rid the Town of Salem of anyone who wishes for any organization.

The niche for this role would be he would be against all sides at the beginning but then will eventually help and hurt each side. This is still a work in progress so I would love to hear from the community!

Maybe since the goal of anarchist is to stop organization stuff, he stops one player from being able to vote during the day, disabling the vote buttons.

Sounds good. No idea how it would work myself, but if someone thought of a way to do it I think it would be a good addition to the neutral evil pool.

I like the idea but an anarchist would want people to vote because of the choas it creates. Whichs gives me a great idea (I felt like a light bulb just went off in my head )! His ability is "Mob Mentality" that was 3 uses(?). The following day that he uses it all votes count for double. That means the Mayor's single vote counts as 6 votes!

I did think of that but the purpose is to create chaos, so the minority could lynch a surprised majority.

It only affects the votes to get someone on the stand.

There are very few role ideas I can imagine in gameplay, but this might be one of them. Maybe a few tweaks here and there and you've got something.

There could be a message at the start of the discussion phase. Something like A sudden feeling of rebellion rises. An Anarchist has started a riot!

I think on revolt days, guilty votes should count double as much as innocent votes. Otherwise he might have little effect.

In my opinion the bad thing about the anarchist would be, all sides would want him dead, since he needs to kill people from both sides. But his powers are little compared to the SK or WW that also oppose both.

Does he need to survive to end, or does he just need a list of roles being dead at the end? With survive its way more difficult than survivor for example, with being allowed to be dead, he might get tons of wins out of pure chance.

I thought about it but once someone gets up on the stand it is unlikely they will survive regardless. That's why I want him to make people get up on the stand easier.

As for the win condition I was considering just having his target roles dead before he died. That way he wouldn't have to survive til the end but also wouldn't win every game by chance.

Don't Neutral Evil roles normally screw the Townies over and not the Mafia? :/

But regardless, I'd love to see your idea eventually flesh out!
