Fine, I'll just work towards erasing his name from existence instead, then. Want to help me hack into the government's databases?"

“I actually heard of a better person to do the job. They’ve been making the rounds as an Ultimate-level programmer. You could probably get in touch with them. And they’d be better at hacking than a run-of-the-mill thief, but I’ll do whatever I can to help out.”

"This is the first time we're actually talking to one another since the incident, correct?"

Bryce glares at Kam'rae, never forgetting that she nearly got him killed just because it seemed 'obvious.'

"Well, as you can see from the newspaper, I'm doing some more detective work. Because of my survival and being put on the newspaper twice, let's just say I have quite a few customers lined up."

"How about you guys?"

I'd be happy to help you in any way I could, though admittedly my skills aren't much use.

Well, to think it's already 5 years. I think it's uplifting that this number of us survived against the odds. We should remember those who died but also be glad of the number that lived. I wish you all good luck.

Hours later, the meeting ends. Everyone bids their farewells and start leaving the room one by one, leaving only Letitia behind.
She still does hate everyone, but perhaps having chosen to kill the guards was the best choice for not only herself, but them too... A choice that led to a better future. A future with hope.
After glancing at the newspapers, she, too, exits the room.
...And Frey soon walks back in, as this is his own house

---

Only god knows what await these six, but with hope on their side, an ultimate title is useless in comparison.

Frey and Bryce solved the Avenging Angel mystery. Beau found the cure for a deadly disease. Kam'rae, even though paralyzed, still lives on. Letitia single-handely all four guards. Paegus... didn't give up on avenging Ellery? And Justin managed to set up a killing game, all while avoiding police.

Anyone can do anything if they try hard enough.

With Frey trashing the two newspapers, the curtains close on this tale of life and death.

May Christopher Barwin never rest in peace.

Well, the game is finally over.
Before anything, I first would like to thank my dear friend Aaron for letting me implement his story into the game. The whole avenging angel story was written by him after being inspired by "And then there were none".
If you are curious, the full original story can be found here, all I did was make a very, very short summary of it and changed a few things in the diary 'Justin' wrote.
I would also like to thank our culprits for offering themselves to kill. Not many people wanted to kill at first, I only got like one or two people applying as blackeneds every night except for the second in which 4/5 people applied.
Thank you Letitia for going through with your risky objective of killing all of the guards and for making the locked room at the end. It made the trial interesting, I would say.
And of course, I'd like to thank all the other players who signed up, the game wouldn't have happened had you not joined and participated in the night and trial.

As for activity, I can't complain since everyone contributed at one point or another during trials and most players sent actions in time. Though, I don't know what happened to Ocelittle who just disappeared at the end of the second night, so I had to use her as the victim for Wiing's plan during the third night.

Trials were fun to watch, though as numbers dropped and school started for some, the amount of posts per trial were significantly reduced. But that didn't stop you guys from finding the killers anyway.

The most common mistake I made while making night actions was writing "Weegee" instead of "Bryce". I wrote everyone else's character name correctly, but for some reason this kept happening no matter how much I tried to stop it. Guess Weegee's cursed
In the end I just gave up and started using the find-and-replace option every time I finished a batch of actions to fix the thing.

Spaking of the night phase, it certainly was a bit of a pain when I started it at 10 PM at first because that meant I would have to wait till that hour everyday (guaranteed at least one person would not send their action) instead of going to sleep like I always do. And then I would have to stay one more hour writing all actions. But meh, I got used to it, and I later did the smart thing and started night earlier. So protip if you plan on hosting with this sytem: don't start night late!

If I could go back and change something, that would be helping out Wiing a bit more: after killing Phoenix, he was stuck in Letitia's room for legit the rest of the night, so he couldn't get an alibi. Someone was in the dorm hallway at all times, so if he had tried to leave he would have been seen. When he did escape the room it was in one of the last two actions... and by that point there was no way to get an alibi.

...And that is it. Thank you once more for playing/reading the game, and I hope it was fun.
If you want to host with this action system and need advice, ask me and I'll do my best to help.

I shall now go wait for the next game to go up.

Anyone can post now.

This is NOT the last you’ll see of KAM’RAE, THE ULTIMATE THIEF!

...but I have a different character in mind for my next game.
