not just people that did well. "rookies" specifically

the point is "rookie of the year"

chemist is a rookie... they are improving... they get rookie of the year award...

The idea is the best player that started this year, I'd pick Evan, Menace, Mandingo, and a bunch of other people over me. But thank you anyways.
