Diablo
Neutral (Evil)

Summary
An evil entity who curses others for fun.

Priority: 1

Ability
Mark a player during the daytime. (sun icon)

Attributes
If the player you marked completes their night action they will be cursed
Once your target is cursed their name and role will be given to mafia killing, coven killing, and neutral killing roles at the start of the day phase
You will receive a cursed players role the night after they activate their curse.
In the case of mafia being cursed, the NK and CK will know their role, and the same goes for the CK and NK if they are cursed
Your target will not know that they are marked
Your target will know that they are cursed

Notification Text
The night the player is cursed: You have been cursed by a Diablo! Your identity has been given to all killers!
The night after being cursed: Your identity has now been given to the Diablo! The curse wears off.

MK, CK, and NK seeing a role: A Diablo has cursed [PlayerName]. They are a/an. [Role].
Diablo seeing a role: [PlayerName] is a [Role]. The curse wears off.

Investigator Results
Investigator: Your target could be an Investigator, Consigliere, Mayor, or Diablo
Sheriff: Your target is not suspicious.
Consigliere: Your target is a demon. They must be a Diablo!

Additional Information
A medium talking = completing their night action.
A jailor executing = completing their night action.
Any other role that visits at night = completing their night action.

Goal
Survive to see the town lose the game.

In-Game Example
Player A is a Lookout
Player B is Diablo
Player C is an Arsonist
Player D is a Godfather

d1 - diablo marks player a
n1 - player a does an action. they are cursed.
d2 - arsonist and godfather get player A's exact role. diablo chooses to mark another player
n2 - the player diablo marked didn't complete an action. nothing happens
d3 - diablo gets player a's exact role

Tl;Dr
Mark a player with the sun icon. If they do something at night they are cursed. At the end of the night their role is given to all evil killers (if cursed). You get their role too, the next night after they are cursed.

I don't like how other neutrals know what the roles are, so I think it should just be kept to NKs, NEs, and NBs.

Point is, the outed player has a risk of being killed by a killing role. No need for other roles that can't kill to know that players role.

Cool role, nerfs Town a bit. Might I suggest making the Diablo’s visits Astral, so that the mark is truly undetectable?

Marking a player is a daytime ability so it's already undetectable :p

In TG, Exe and jest are reworked and moved to NB based on what defines each alignment.
NB roles can win with all.
NE roles can only with evils and share the witch's win condition.
So yes, by that virtue (Which will hopefully become the standard), NEs can't side with Town.

Fair warning, I know many of the ideas in this are pretty shitty/unbalanced, but I have a lot more knowledge of role mechanics and balancing now than I did then.

- Nothing in particular, might return to rework old ideas. We'll see.
