-The player that has the most votes by the end of the voting phase will be put on trial and be voted by the group that voted them on while other group will get extra discussion time.
Mystoc wrote:edit what about calling it the revolutionary?
Mystoc wrote:i don't fully understand the voting part
Mystoc wrote:so one group can vote the other does nothing? how's it decided which group is the one allowed to vote
Mystoc wrote:defiantly
So when it's voting phase everyone can vote someone else that is in their group only, and when the phase is over, the person with the most votes out of both groups will be put on trial and will only be voted guilty/innocent by the people in the group they are in.
Mystoc wrote:which group do you vote in when the role?

Name: Convener/Divisive/Racist
)No racist.
Alignment: Town Power/Town Scout/Neutral Evil/Mafia Support/Coven Evil/Neutral Chaos
)As this seems to counter Town the most, probably a NE.
Attack: None
Defense: None(Basic if NE)
)Yup.At least an Autovest.
Unique?: Semi.(Amnesiac can remember this role)
)Seems pretty op. Voting is town main power, and taking it away more then once can doom it completely.
Priority: 1st
Ability:
-At night, divide the town into 2 seperate groups for the following day.
)Mayor should be immune from this. Why? Otherwise, evils could lynch a proven townie on day 4, which is extremly powerful.
Attributes:
-You can only do this once.(Can be twice if it's still not strong enough)
)Unless the erson playing this is either an idiot or uses it secondt nigt, once should be more then enough.
-The groups must either have an equal amount of players(if even amount of players) or have a group that has 1 player less than the other group(if odd amount of players).
-You can not use your action on the first night.
-Everyone can not interact with the group they aren't in that day, except for you.
(And mayor.
-The player that has the most votes out of both groups by the end of the voting phase will be put on trial and be voted by the same group that voted that player while other group will get extra discussion time.
-In the events of a tie between two groups, no one will be put on trial and instead the day ends.
)I like this.
-In the events of a tie between two players in 1 group, the most voted player in the other group will be put on trial instead.
-Mafia and Coven members can still chat together even if they aren't in the same group that night.
-Everyone can only use their action the people that are in their group that night.
Special attributes:
Depends on the alignment
Additional information:
When you divide, you pick the players you want in 1 group and then the rest will be in the other group. If there are an odd number of players, you will pick for the group that will have less players in it.
Goal: Umm what
Win conditions: Umm what
Investigative results: I'll do this later
Misc:
Spoiler:
Thanks to HTE for helping me with a kinda big portion of the role(and purple + poptart but they only helped with the name)

i ain't giving mayor another buff

How am i supposed to answer the questions in the poll if i can only vote for one option
KingoftheRocks wrote:a)Mayor has buffs?
KingoftheRocks wrote:b)Unless at the time of writing this, it was changed to a NC, this becomes the evil version of a Retribrokenist, being a weak role that no one has fun playing, and an extremely powerful role (that unless he knows enough all the evil roles) NO ONE has fun playing against.
KingoftheRocks wrote:I mean a revealed Mayor shouldn't either be an option to be voted on, but can't vote either. It's not a buff, more a balancing act.
KingoftheRocks wrote:If this is a NC now, then thats a whole new kettle of fish. NCs need to at least have concise win condiions, because:
Survivor: Claim you're going to activate, then do.
With town: Ability is counterproductive.
KingoftheRocks wrote:Mafia/Coven: You can't find out who they are, and can't talk to them to see when and who'll it will have the most use.
KingoftheRocks wrote:You could even get one of your 'allies' lynched.
KingoftheRocks wrote:Just Neutrals: They don't have enough voting power at basically any time, so this can help them. You still don't know who they are.
KingoftheRocks wrote:All in all, an alignment is never an excuse for a role that can easily confim, is underbalaced in every possible alignment, a role that no one likes playing or working against. It'll get the same stigma as Ret. Do we need another of those types of roles?
simpson210 wrote:Concept is interesting but this would be game-breakingly overpowered late game. Voting and talking is pretty much town's only weapon so poking this weapon is very dodgy and can lead to this role being structure-breaking.
/halfsupport, Really nice idea but needs a nerf.

Aren’t you the same one who told me to “go back to Wikia” in my Stalker role, because I said that I don’t make roles based on whether they are needed to answer your claim that “this role isn’t needed”?
