awards || This is not an official episodic game, so flairs and official titles will not be awarded.

respect || It's the holiday season: be jolly! No one wants to find coal in their stockings because they were the culprit behind personal attacks and harassment.

activity || Give the gift of content-full posts at least three times a day. Not meeting this requirement will result in immediate replacement.

illegals || The following are prohibited:


gamethrowing || Purposefully sabotaging your or your faction's chance at victory.

outside communication || Conversing about an ongoing game outside of the thread without a host's explicit permission.

codes || Using codes to communicate information in thread, giving players able to decrypt an out of game advantage.

spam || Excessively multi-posting or not spoilering long posts.

posting out of thread communications || Posting conversations with a host or snippets from mafia chat.

angleshooting || Using out of game information like when players were online, when role PMs were sent, ect. to formulate arguments.

private messages || Submit all messages and actions to both Schultz128 and moonbird. Label messages as E2 D[Day number] Action. Mafia actions may be submitted in mafia chat.

fun || Pop open a jug of eggnog, lean back, and enjoy the ride: who doesn't enjoy the holidays? Chill out, ya'll.

Setup & Role Matrix

days || This game has 24 hour days, no nights. Mafia daychat is enabled. Night actions are due at the 24 hour mark. Night results will be posted directly after the lynch flip, if any.

lynches || If a player reached majority before dayend, players may post until dayend. However, they may not change the lynch target. Actions and the lynch will still occur at the 24 hour mark. If a player does not reach majority by dayend, then the player with the most votes will be lynched. Nolynching is enabled. There is a Day One lynch.

votes || Bold votes for players and separate them from large text walls. Assume we're all as rushed as Santa Claus himself--we may miss votes if they are not evident.

roles || One row or column from the matrix will be rng'ed. Those roles will be in play; the remaining slots are filled with 1 Mafia Goon and 5 Citizens. Players are not informed what row/column rolled.

You are a Bulletproof.

Your alignment is Town Citizen.

The only special ability you have is preparedness. You've long since knew about this Mafia invasion and stashed away a survival kit for this very day.

The first time you would be killed instead you survive thanks to your bulletproof vest.

Sheriff

You are a Sheriff.

Your alignment is Town Investigative.

You are the Sheriff in this town and your role is to enforce the law.

Every night you have the ability to investigate one town member to see if they're up to anything suspicious.
If your target is a member of the Mafia, a Serial Killer, or a Stalker you will know.
However, the Godfather, the Arsonist, and the Bomber hide their tracks too well and will appear as not suspicious to you.

Doctor

You are a Doctor.

Your alignment is Town Protective.

You are this town's doctor, and have kept everybody healthy for years.

You have the ability to visit one person each night. If they are attacked that night, you arrive just in time to save their life.
You may not visit the same player twice in a row.

Tracker

You are a Tracker.

Your alignment is Town Investigative.

You are a guide working out of this town, so you've got a keen mind when it comes to tracking. Using it to see what everyone is up to at night could help find the killers.

Every night you may target a player and see who they visited if anyone.

Jailkeeper

You are a Jailkeeper.

Your alignment is Town Protective.

You are the town's jailkeeper locking up criminals when prosecuted. Now however you'll be using your cell to keep the town safe by locking them up. It's for their own good.

Every night you may target a player and lock them in your jail cell.
This roleblocks and protects them.

You are a Consort.

Your alignment is Mafia Support

You were once an escort, giving away services to give your client's pleasure in exchange for money.
You hated it, however, and felt used every night.
Once the mafia came into town, you didn't hesitate one moment and managed to join them, offering to use your "skills" to distract townsfolk while each and every one of them was murdered.

Every night you can choose to target one player.
You'll distract them that night, roleblocking them.
You are immune to being roleblocked.
You can communicate with your allies each night, for as long as they are alive.
