Some questions:
- Role-block immune? I don't think I'll make it roleblock immune, but I might make it counterattack roleblockers at stage 3. Would that make it too overpowered? Would not giving it roleblock immunity make it underpowered?
- If you visit a Pestilence you die? Yes.
- If a Hydra dies, it confirms 2 other Hydras in the game? (All Any) It would confirm that there are 2 other Hydras, that is correct.
- Will the other Hydras be notified if one of their members are attacked? I think I might make it that way. Similar to how the Coven is notified that another member of the faction was given the Necronomicon after the current holder dies.
- Is there a faction window? Yes.
Flavor Text Suggestions:
Voting: Naru has voted to kill Jezz tonight.
Voting: Naru has instead decided to kill Jezz tonight.
Dying (Hydra): Spell has died! The remaining Hydras' powers are enhanced!
Dying: You were torn apart by a Hydra! You have died!
Dying (Day): Jezz was found dead in their home last night. They were torn apart by a Hydra. I actually really like all of these flavor text suggestions. Do you mind if I use these in my first post?
timurtheking wrote:So a reverse juggernaut when it loses allies, it has allies like vampire (If you mean does it convert, no, but it does have known allies like the Mafia, Coven, and Vampire) and kills full moon? Thank god this won't roll in any serious ranked game Neutral Chaos should never be in Ranked or Ranked Practice... ever, it's not a great role imo as it's essentially a mini-mafia who can't attack every night isn't saying that like saying that the Coven is a Mafia but just with every member having the ability to attack. It's very different from the Mafia, but I can understand if it isn't a 10/10 role. Also, it can attack every night. After 1 member dies.

HereThereEverywhere wrote:The second voting message makes it sound like it's not a vote. When you decide to do something, you're going to do it. So Naru wouldn't be deciding to kill Jess, he would just be changing his vote.
"Naru has instead voted to kill Jess tonight." or something along these lines. Decided is just a bad choice of wording.
Mystoc wrote:vampire juggernaut ripoff that gets stronger when its teammates die instead of when it gets kills all it does it get more kills per night when someone dies
seems like another stronger faction with insane kills per night honestly that's very one dimensional
HereThereEverywhere wrote:GF doesn't vote who to kill. GF does decide who to kill, whereas Vampires, Mafioso, and this role all vote. Voting isn't the same as deciding. Mafioso might be the same as what you said, but if it is, then it should be changed.
timurtheking wrote:Vampires vote on who to kill/bite is what mystoc meant
Mystoc wrote:i mean its vampires but no conversion you even use term youngest and oldest
and its juggernaut but gets stronger as u lose people which is dumb this does not reward good play
in fact it rewards bad play and encourage some the hydras to die on purpose so they can get more kills per night cause really are they are is a vote but other then that they are hindering the role itself its a bad design that promotes dying
killing two of the hydras and not being able to find the last one will be disastrous with hydra
having 2 kills a night. you are better off not kill hydras cause then only have .5 kills a night instead of 2 which is 4x stronger
what i also dislike is the getting stronger part is just more kills that's it there nothing unique or fun about just killing more people is just ok i can kill more people no new mechanics or anything

When Hydras die, they lose majority. They can't have 4 or 5 member like Mafia or Coven do. Also, it's NC.
Mystoc wrote:it's a faction of NC who vote on who to kill its basicly vampires who dont convert what i said makes complete sense
losing majority is not a big deal when they don't know who you are and you are killing 2 people a night
im not saying dying on purpose is the go to play
i'm saying killing part of the hydra should be rewarding to others and not punishing, its stupid that dying is barely a penalty let alone theres 3 of you playing one role / faction
you have to kill 3 people and as kill more of them you get punished how is that fair at all it's not its OP
Mystoc wrote:the idea of punishing people for killing people the must be killed is dumb
your jester example does not apply u can ignore jester and not kill it or execute it as jailor or shoot it as vigilante and its penalty won't happen
the hydra must be killed for game to end to completely different things
yea u can change the power ups it gets has it loses players but it's simply the mechanic of rewarding death that's bad that's all
Mystoc wrote:ok most of them are gonna get killed at night though since have no defense so it's really doesnt really change anything (very few will get hanged but it is better then having no way to stop the powerup at all so it is improvement)
also the buff is of just getting more kills is really bland the power ups should feel unique and not so simple
lemonader666 wrote:Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Juggernaut already has that mechanic
Shilster wrote:lemonader666 wrote:Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Actually, Juggernaut only gets stronger with a successful kill.
This gets stronger when allies die.
