Role-Smoker

Smoker

Alignment: Neutral (Killing)

Abilities: Select a player to put a special cigarette in their house.

Attributes: Spoiler: The time it takes for the cigar to kill the target depends on how many people are alive at the time.

12-15 players left: 2 night delay.
9-11 players left: 1 night delay.
6-8 players left: Instant kill.
2-5 players left: You can attack two players at once.

The cigar deals a Powerful Attack.

The smoke can be removed by Doctors. Players will not know that a cigarette was put in their house.


Sheriff: Your target is not suspicious.

Investigator: Your target could be a Vigilante, Veteran, Mafioso, Pirate, Ambusher, or Smoker.

Witchigilere: Your target smokes a lot! They must be a Smoker!

Goal: Normal NK Goal

Messages:
Spoiler: Death message: He/She (also) died from inhaling the Smoker's smoke.
Death Message to Target: You have succumbed to the smoke inside your house! You have died!
Doctor's Message: You found a deadly cigarette in your target's house and you removed it!

This goes along the same idea as the juggernaut, it gets more powerful as the game goes on, but it works differently, it is a cool role idea, but I am not sure it will fit in the game.
I always have my avatar as a throwback to a classic many people miss, I don't know what you lot like so don't say you are disappointed.

NKs need a good and fast KPN or they're going to be screwed. This having a powerful attack doesn't make up for that. You can kill the Godfather/CL if the CL has the Necronomicon, and you can kill an NE if it's Exe, whereas you can kill the other NEs easily. You can also kill a Survivor. Roles you don't even need to kill, you can accuse the first two in a DN or make a claim.\

Killing neighbors shouldn't happen ever, it's a purely cosmetic choice and RNG where you end up. The slot you are randomly put at in the start of the game should not determine whether you're going to die or not.

I feel like instead of the neighbor attack, it could be a crusader style rampage where 1 random visitor dies? (Minus you)

Again, random is luck, not skill. In a skill-based game like ToS, we can't have abilities that rely on luck. Crusader is a good example of bad randomness, it's nowhere near as useful as a Bodyguard. It can kill multiple evils but if even one Townie visits the same target it can screw up tremendously.

Why would u die? If ur their neighbor? I said it skips you.

I never said "You" as in the Smoker, I mean "You" as in the Town of Salem player. Reread the start of the first sentence. Where you end up and who your neighbors are should never determine who does or doesn't die. I didn't say the Smoker would die, I said people shouldn't have to worry about who their neighbors are.

This role is just kind of boring. Can you make diferent cigars so they do different things, maybe even cigars that can help someone in a certain way such as bliding the person that would kill them so they can escape. Either way i think this role would very hard to win considering it takes multiple days to kill one townie

This is a NK role, it doesn't need a variety of ways to kill.
This role kills faster when the town gets smaller.
The cigar deals a Powerful attack, not Basic.
