Rules:

1. This is a game. Please treat it as such and remember to enjoy playing, even though official titles will not be given out. In addition, the rules found here apply.
2. Respect. Please refrain from rude remarks and personal attacks, as they will be punished. Please contact a moderator if you believe that this rule is not being followed.
3. Inactivity. Players have every 30 hours to post content relating to this game or else they will be prodded. Prodded players have 12 hours to respond to their prod by posting in the thread or they will be replaced. If a player is prodded a second time they will be replaced.
4. Prohibited Activities. The following actions are not allowed:
   
   • Gamethrowing. All actions must be done in order to complete your win condition. Do not attempt to sabotage either yourself or your faction. This can include "jesting."
   • Outside Influences. Do not discuss this game outside of this thread unless expressly permitted to and do not attempt to angleshoot.
   • Codes. Codes and encryptions cannot be used. Signals, however, are allowed.
   • Spam. Out of courtesy please do not excessively post and spoil any long posts or quotes.
5. Flavor. Flavor is from the perspective of the players. Do not build arguments based upon moderator flavor.
6. Private Message Formatting. All actions must be sent to ICECLIMBERS with the following PM title:
   
   "VFM Night Action"
7. The Phases of the Moon. Each waxing gibbous phase will last for 84 hours, or until majority is reached. Players may vote during the day with the following format: /vote Playername. Plurality is in play and tiebreakers are resolved with the player who reached the number of votes first lynched. Full moons will last for 36 hours. Only then will the werewolf chat be unlocked.
8. Bah posts. Players are allowed one contentless "bah" post within 24 hours of the day following their death.

Is it time for yet another story? I'll see what I can find.

But enough with the tales from Old Salem. Witches, and mobs, and Mafiosi. It all blends together no matter how it goes. Let's look for something a bit different, shall we?

Ah, here we go. This one, of Thiercelieux. The land where the werewolves howled, nestled within the bucolic forests of pastoral France. The one where the bad guys simply had no choice in the matter. It's covered with dust, but I can just swipe that off to begin...

Ahem.

"The seer had died, mauled and ripped apart under the last full moon. Before then the hairy men- werewolves- were only thought of as an old tale from a past even further go. But now, with the waxing gibbous illuminating the sky, the villagers attempted to strike back. The pitchforks, last used to harvest hay, came out of the sheds once again. Their metal dully reflected under the brilliant moonlight that increased with ever lost hour...."
