Juggler -------Warrior Dart was the one who gave me the idea of creating this role, I created this role myself
Spoiler:
Role Name: Juggler
Role Alignment: Neutral Chaos
Attributes:
Has the ability to change peoples role is the same alignment.
Can only do this 3 times.
Players cannot become unique roles
Players can choose to remain as their same role.
Example:
Doctor ingame
*End of Night*
A Juggler has visited you and granted you the option to choose another role in your current alignment.
*Box comes up on screen*
Doctor
Bodygaurd
You have selected Bodygaurd
*Box Closes*
Another
As Escort
*Night ends*
Notification " "
*Box appears*
Escort
Transporter
Medium
You have chosen Medium
*Box Closes*
Optional: Only 1 change instead of 3. Juggler is notified what their new role is?
Wins with: Neutral Conditions
Special Attributes:
Unique Role.
No night immunity
Additional Information (comments): It is a good role that I would like feedback and comments of. I think this is a lovely role as it gives players an option to become a different role in the same alignment. Adds abit of chaos and confusion ingame. Players cannot be unique roles for a good reason. If they are already a unique role then they can choose to stay as they already are. Optional so that it is only 1 switch or optional that the Juggler is notified of the change and/or whether they chose to change or not.
Monk
Spoiler:
Role Alignment: Neutral Benign / Town support
Attributes:
Can bless a total of 4 people, granting them 1 night of immunity
Has 1 self blessing
Optional...
Heals the person when he blesses them. (Applies to BG and protection roles)
Role-blocks anyone that they try to bless who is not with the town or a killing role.
EDIT: Doesn't get a notification of what he does (Heal or Role-block - God decides...Dying to RBing the SK can still happen)
Wins with: Everyone / Town
Special Attributes: When using self blessing, you gain Night Immunity for the night
Unique role?
Additional Information (comments): When Blessed, player receives the message: 'You have been blessed' And the attacker receives: 'Your target was immune to your attack!' The Attacked player will recieve: 'You were attacked but a priest/monk blessed you! A role-blocked player would recieve the notification that you get when an escort role blocks you.
Investigator : Your target works with documents, (Bible, Books...) they must be a Framer or Monk/Priest
Sheriff: Not suspicious
Consigliere: Your targets reads the bible each night before sleeping. They must be the Priest/Monk
Firefighter
Spoiler:
Role Name: Fire Fighter
Role Alignment: Neutral Benign (Please correct me on the suitable neutral)
Attributes: Ability to clean a douse off three players and once on themselves
Can use their fire axe once to protect a target. Kills the attacker but doesn't die
Wins with: All players (or neutral conditions)
Special Attributes: With the ability to clean off the Arsonist's douses, the Fire-fighter can be an advantage for all roles. The Fighter has one self cleansing. No Night Immunity
Additional Information (comments): When the Fire-Fighter cleans a target, he will recieve a message of whether he has successfully cleaned his target. It may come up like this 'You have successfully cleaned/undoused your target.' This is a good thing because if the target claims that he was doused during the day and you clean him at night, you can tell whether the target really was doused or not, wasting a clean if the target wasn't really doused The Fire-Fighter should be a new Town of Salem role because it can unravel many advantages and disadvantages in the game. The best thing to do as well is to allow the Fire-Fighter to be used in custom mode or all any only when there are 2 or more Arsonists. The Fire-Fighter can be a good role because the Janitor has 3 cleans and the Veteran has 3 alerts so using the cleaning's 3 nights in a row shouldn't be reason why the Fire-Fighter can't be made into an official role since other roles can use their 3 uses ability 3 nights in a row as well
Patient Zero
Spoiler:
Role Name: Patient Zero
Role Alignment: Neutral Chaos
Attributes:
Has the Ability to spread infinite infections.
Every 2 nights (At full moon?) the Virus Creator can choose to infect a target
If the target that he chooses has visitors everyone gets the virus.
The first time someone gets the virus, they are role-blocked the next night (If they visited the target) If they were directly targeted, they are role-blocked that night
Any person who gains the virus twice gets killed.
Ignores Night Immunity
Can infect a group of people. So if the jailor has jailed the Virus Creators target, both the Jailor and the target will be infected. The medium will infect the dead (for if they get resurrected) and if there is a second medium, he will be infected. If the medium is infected and dies, the person he senances will become infected.
If the Virus maker infects a target that is in a hideout (My Miner role suggestion) then everyone there will be infected. This applies for other role suggestions and the groups that they can form. (Host, e.t.c)
The Body Guard will kill the Virus Creator but become infected himself.
An alerted Veteran will kill the Virus creator but become infected.
Wins with: Neutral Chaos conditions - Wins on its own and with other neutral (Survivor - Witch)
Special Attributes:
None - too OP if there are Special Attributes
Doesn't have its own night immunity
Unique role
Additional Information (comments): The Virus creator is a good role suggestion that I have came up with. I have made it fair so that if someone gets infected twice then they die. This shouldn't apply for Mafia as they could then be wiped out..This is for roles in the Master thread that can create groups, the Virus Creator can infect the group, role blocking them the first time.
EDIT: Can only infect maximum groups of 2 and 3
Investigator: Your target is a loner, they must be a Witch, Survivor or a Virus Creator
Sherrif: Your target is a Virus Creator
Consigliere: Your target works with viruses and spreads them. They are a Virus Creator.
Stunt man
Spoiler:
The Stunt man was the youngest of 2 that was raised by the Mafioso parents. He was trained to become the strongest soldier but lacked height and composure. After his training, he went to the Mafia to join their group and they declined his request. The Stunt man now visits Town of Salem to prove that he is worthy to join the Mafia. With his escort disguise and his shotgun, he visits people every night, eliminating them one by one.
Role Name: Stunt man (Again, I am free to name suggestions)
Role Alignment: Neutral Killing (Suggestions)
Attributes:
Can choose to roleblock a player
Has the ability shoot a player
Can shoot 3 people
Shoots a Mafia member - Commits suicide
If Mafia get eliminated he becomes Jester
Cannot shoot Night 1
Cannot shoot and Roleblock (E.G Roleblock Night 1, shoot night 2, shoot night 3, roleblock night 4)
Wins with: Neutral conditions and Mafia
Special Attributes:
None - No night immunity
Additional Information (comments): Hey feel free to comment and make suggestions about any changes I should make
I really like this role and I think it is a grand idea
The story between the Stunt man and the Stunter is: Raised as children by their Mafioso parents, The Stunter and Stunt man trained together and were always challenging each other. They were made to become fit and strong people but when their time came, the were declined by the Mafia and they said that the children needed more training. Angry, The Stunt man blamed the Stunter and the Stunter blamed the Stunt man. They stormed off in outrage and encountered Town of Salem, a chaotic area in which they can prove themselves. Ever since, the brothers have become enemies.
Stunter ------- Credit for this role goes to theelfoflorien for creating this grand role
Spoiler:
Role Name: Stunter
Role Alignment: Neutral Evil
Story: After being declined by the Mafia, The Stunter ignored his past life and decided to try to make it big in show business, getting a small time part playing a Good guys Stunt double, he ruffed and bumped it in several brawls getting beaten up by the pretend Bad guys. Getting sick of taking the punches for the Good guys he tried to join the Bad side. Stealing a supply of pyrotechnics from the stage he sets up others houses to watch the fireworks. Hoping that the Explosions and burning people alive gets him the attention of the Mafia, and proving himself to them.
Abilities: Chose one person to Trap then Kill the next night
Attributes:
-You have a Total of 3 sets of Pyrotechnics.
-On the First Night of picking a target you Role block them stopping them from using
their night abilities, On the Second Night the same target you picked from the first
night burst into fire and explosions from the Pyrotechnics show Killing them.
-If you Kill a Mafia Member, you feel they will think you betrayed them, unable to live
with that you set up for one last show, and set yourself alight. Killing yourself and all you have come to see it in the process.
Goal: Gain the attention of the Mafia in attempts to join them.
Wins with: Mafia, Witches, Survivors (other neutral roles that you see fit)
Special Attributes: Roleblock Immune
Additional Information (comments):
Well to break it down,
N1: Role block Bob, Bob gets Notification they have been role block, and pyrotechnics were set up on their house
N2: Bob dies automatically at end of night (Cannot use your roleblock, you are too busy Killing)
N3: Role block Steve, Steve gets Notification they have been role block, and pyrotechnics were set up on their house
N4: Steve dies automatically at end of night
D5: Find out Steve was actually Mafia
N5: You feel Guilty over killing a Mafia Member, You set a light your entire stock, blowing up you and anyone who visited you, You end up killing Yourself, Deb(invest), and Dan(lookout), both who visited you that night.
D6: you are dead
Other wise you win if there is at least 1 Mafia member or Witch left, (or any other Neutral roles you want). Does not require that you are alive.
Advantages: They Roleblock targets keeping information at bay/vigilantes from shooting you, They are Immune to Roleblocks, They are a Killing role, They win with Mafia and Witches. Even in death they can help the Mafia by exploding their house and killing visiting roles. They come up as Not Suspicious under Sheriff, Explosions go through Vests, Doctors, and Veterans as long as they are not on alert during Roleblock phase (can't stop explosions once placed)
Disadvantages: They are still able to kill Mafia/Allies, if they Kill a Mafia member they commit suicide, They do not know who the Mafia members are or how many, They come up Transporter, Arson, Stunter as Invest; They only have 3 chances to kill and it takes 2 days. so earliest they could use up all charges would be night 6, once they are out of charges they are useless, They are not Night Immune. They cannot kill Night Immune targets, Cannot Kill Jailed Targets (they are away from home when the explosions go off.) Serial Killer Kills them once roleblocked (Serial Killers Ability triggers) Vet Kills them on alert if they are trying to Roleblock. Both Visits are seen by lookout. Dies if visits a place where werewolf is killing.

Chef
Spoiler:
The Chef once worked in an exquisite restaurant. While The Chef was cooking, the infamous inspector suddenly walked in the kitchen and was horrified by the grubby work that he was doing. Petrified, the inspector reported the Chef and he got fired by the council. The Chef was kicked out and went broke, ran out of money and eventually turned crazy. The Chef now visits Town Of Salem, cold bloodedly stabbing people with his kitchen knife and cooking them, without thought or any emotion.
Role Name: Chef
Role Alignment: Neutral Chaos
Attributes:
Kills two people and gains their abilities night 3
(If he kills people of 2 different factions he joins the faction that he first killed)
The Chef can kill Unique roles and killing roles also including Witch, Transporter, Ammesiac Forger and Vampire but cannot absorb their abilities. If the Chef cooks 2 of the same role, the role is granted a buff (Like some role suggestions that grant buffs)
Wins with: survivor, witch as Neutral Chaos. When he changes gains his abilities he wins with the faction he joins
Special Attributes:
Night Immune
Unique role
Investigator results: Your Target uses knives. They must be a Doctor/SK/Chef
Sheriff: NS
Consigliere: Your target kills people and cooks them. They must be a Chef
Results for the investigation stay the same even after he gains his new abilities

Chef
Attributes:
Kill two people and cook them
Example:
The Chef kills Deodat Lawson, the lookout Night 1
The Chef kills William Phips, the Investigator Night 2. The Chef then spends Night 3 cooking Deodat and William and at the end of the night he gains the abilities of both the lookout and the Investigator and gets 2 boxes next to every player to investigate or lookout on their victim that night. His role name and card remain the same but his win conditions, abilities and faction change no longer being able to kill. The two boxes are similar to the ones the witch and the transporter recieve. The Chef can not do this to any unique, immune and killing roles. The chef will be able to kill unique and killing roles but will be unable to cook them, therefore wasting a night.
Town that the Chef can kill: Medium, Escort, Lookout, Investigator, Sheriff, BodyGuard, Doctor, Spy (Can't kill doc with self heal or BG using vest)
Mafia that the Chef can kill (Joins them once he kills and cooks either 2 Mafia or a mafia and any other role): Blackmailer, Consigiliere, Consort, Framer, Janitor, Disguiser
Neutral that the Chef can kill: Jester, Survivor. (Can't kill survivor using vest)
The Escort, Jailor, Transporter, Consort and Witch are all able to interrupt the killing/cooking process and either waste the night or change their target.
If the Chef cooks 2 of the same role, the role is granted a buff (Like some roll suggestions that grant buffs) If the Chef kills 2 people from a different alignment, he joins the same alignment as the first person he cooked.
Wins with: Survivor and Witch, when he becomes town, win condition with town. If he becomes Mafia, He wins Mafia conditions, e.t.c
Special Attributes:
Night Immune
Unique role
Investigator results: Your Target uses knives. They must be a Doctor/SK/Chef
Sheriff: NS
Consigliere: Your target kills people and cooks them. They must be a Chef
Results for the investigation stay the same once the Chef cooks 2 people and has their abilities
Additional Information (comments): There are advantages and disadvantages with this suggestion. The fact that the process takes so long and can be interrupted makes this less of a too OP role. But the Chef has night immunity and can kill anyone except for night immune roles. There are good upsides and I have evened the balance up so this role isn't too OP or too weak. If you look at this and still think it's too OP, think again. The time it takes actually takes a while. The cost though for all these disadvantages allows you to have 2 different abilities (note you lose the ability to kill after you gain them), so therefore I know it is balanced
Superhero
Spoiler:
Lore: Spending his life as a hero, The Superhero gets tired of his daily life and attempts to retire. After his fans went crazy and went on strike, The Superhero decides that for the best to fake his death and retreats to a far away town, in which he sees the chaos unfold. The Superhero decides to do 1 more good deed before retiring. To help Town of Salem.
Role Name: The Superhero
Role Allignment: Neutral (I don't know where this should go)
Attributes:
Has 2 kills, that pierce through night immunity
Kills summon lightning that kills the target
Cannot kill night 1
Has 1 Vest that protects him from anything except Jailor's executions (Protects him from Arsonists Ignite or Douse but for only that one night)
Played killed: ''You have been zapped by lightning!''
Death: John Hathorne was zapped by a Superhero last night
Investigator results: Your Target is a Loner: They must be a Survivor, Witch, Werewolf or a Superhero
Sheriff: NS
Consigliere: Your target is retired. They must be a Superhero
Wins With: Town members and survivors (e.t.c)
Special Attributes:
None - Night Immunity using vest
Additional Informational (comments): The Superhero is a balanced out neutral role. Has only 1 vest and 2 vigilant shots that pierce through night immunity. Cannot kill the first night.
Torcher
Spoiler:
The Torcher was a Kid who was badly brought up and secretly praised the Arsonist and his style of killing. The kid as a teenager had a dream to become just like him.
Role Name: The Torcher (Feel free to suggest another name)
Role Alignment: Neutral Killing
Attributes:
Is a Kid who has uncontrollably grown up to be obsessed with the arsonist. As a teenager, he decided to pursue his dream.
Illegally bought 3 flame-throwers in which he can use against 3 players (Separate nights) completely burning them up.
If the bodyguard/doc tries to protect the target, they are burnt in the process, counting as 1 flame-thrower used (not much chance of occurring?)
Burning cannot be healed
The Torcher will not be able to get through to a jailed target.
The Torcher will damage an alerted veteran but not kill them. An arsonists ignite will finish the veteran off.
Once the Torcher uses up all 3 flame throwers, he will commit suicide the next night over killing the 3 people (because he is like a kid...) Or he can transform into a jester/survivor
The Torcher doesn't require Arsonist in the game but when there is one, he will become the Arsonists fan (If there are 4 arsonists, e.t.c, then the Torcher gets an Arsonist chosen for him (Like executioner gets a town member chosen for them). If the Arsonist that is the Torchers target dies, (by lynch or at night) the Torcher transforms into the jester. (Because of the pain of losing his role model..e.t.c)
Wins with: Arsonist conditions
Special Attributes:
Attacks ignore night immunity
Has night immunity
Additional Information (comments): This is a really good role that can be used in the game. For me it is something that is balanced out. If you guys think the night chat makes them to OP, we can easily have the Arsonist Junior have 1 arsonist that they can talk to each night, kinda like the executioners target, it will come up as an attribute that you are the fan of that arsonist (if there are multiple ones). Then again, the Torcher doesn't require the Arsonist in the game, if there is one, it makes them both a bit more powerful
God
Spoiler:
Role Alignment: Town Power (Feel free to make some suggestions of where the role alignment really should be)
Attributes:
3 shots that ignore night immunity
Does not commit suicide if they kill a town member
Wins with: Town members and their conditions
Special Attributes:
Unique role
Additional Information (comments):
God would be a really good role idea and there could easily be many different suggestions as to what God can do in Town Of Salem. There could be Jesus as an added role and that if God is attacked, Jesus protects him automatically?
Jesus
Spoiler:
Role Alignment: Town Power (Again, please suggest a different category)
Attributes:
A Body guard that cannot be killed. If Jesus guards an attacked player, the attacker will be killed
If there is God in the game, Jesus will automatically protect God if they are attacked, not protecting their selected player that night
Jesus has the option to hide behind God for protection for one night
If God makes the mistake of killing a Town member, Jesus will trial and lynch himself the next day (If their is no God in that game this rule does not apply)
When Jesus dies, he can talk to the town the next day for only 1 day
Wins with: Town members - same conditions apply
Special Attributes:
When Jesus makes it up to a certain day and is still alive (Maybe day 7) Jesus will be automatically trialled and lynched, disrupting the normal voting system
Unique role
Additional Information (comments): This role is a great suggestions and has room for a lot of improvement. Like I have said, God and Jesus do not require each other in the game but when they are both together, their power will enhance, with the option to protect each other. (God protects Jesus once) Out of all these suggestions of their abilities, you do not have to include all of them; these are many of the suggestions in which could be published.
Miner
Spoiler:
Role Name: Miner
Role Alignment: Town Protective (Please tell me a more appropriate alignment)
Attributes:
Has the ability to mine a player underneath their house each night, role-blocking and protecting the target.
Investigators and sheriffs (e.t.c) will not be able to investigate/check their target if they are in the hideout, whether it is underneath the players house or at the Miners.
Can select a maximum of 2 people and select themselves to form a group underneath the Miner's house, forming a group chat but role-blocking the players from doing their abilities.
The 2 players can leave the hideout and join it each night, but do not gain the protection or the ability not to be investigated that is acquired at the hideout if they are not in it.
If the Miner invites the Serial Killer, the Serial Killer will kill everyone in there at the end of the night.
EDIT: If the player does not stay in the chat for a full night within 3 nights, they are kicked out of the chat group and the miner can/cannot invite another player
EDIT: If the player stays in there for 3 consecutive nights, the player starves or gets kicked out.
If the arsonist douses the miner, everyone underneath the miners house will be doused
Wins with: Town conditions
Special Attributes:
Detection Immunity for everyone in the hideout
Night Immunity for everyone in the hideout
People in the hideout cannot be investigated
Additional Information (comments): The Miner is a good role and should be made a role. Please tell me if it is too OP.
So the miner can select a player to mine them underneath their house and protect them for the night, granting them night immunity and they cannot be investigated. The miner can select 2 players then themselves and they all go underneath the miners house, forming a group chat but role blocking the players if they choose to stay in the hideout. The players can then choose whether to stay under the hideout but not use any abilities or they can choose to leave and do an action. They can then choose to stay inside the next night, unable to do anything or choose to take an action. If the miner invites the Serial Killer into his home with another player, the Serial killer will kill everyone in the hideout as the Miner role blocks the SK. Players will not know each others roles inside the hideout. But they will only be able to chat inside the hideout. If they choose to go outside and do an action, they will not see any messages that come in through with the other 2 players.
The Agent -------Something from FM
Spoiler:
Role Name: Agent
Role Alignment: Mafia Support
Attributes:
Can tap self once?
The Agent can select the Sun Icon and tap into a players night action at the end of the night
This includes a player visiting himself
Example:
''John Hathorne visited William Hobbs''
Optional:
During the night, the Agent can tap into someone during the day by selecting the moon icon, seeing all whispers sent and recieved to the tapped player
Wins with: Mafia win conditions
Special Attributes:
None
Additional Information (comments): I know this is in the FM but I mean why shouldn't this be in TOS? The really awesome ability to tap 1 person per night and see what they did. The optional thing would be to select someone to view whispers sent and recieved in the day. The fool proof thing is that you select this at night to avoid changing the target via a moon icon. Selecting someone to tap at night would be done during the day, selecting the sun icon. At the end of the night you then see who your target visited. The moon icon is the optionial ability that the agent can do
Investigative results: Your Target is a Spy, Blackmailer or Agent
Consigilere Results: Your Target can tap into people's night actions and/or whispers. They must be an agent
Sheriff's Result: NS
Feel free to make suggestions about any changes.
Thanks
Ozyrox
And I thank Ender for the merge to create the ultimate role ideas thread for me
