Observer (Neutral Chaos)
You are a spy sent by the Government to watch all actions that happen in Salem.

Abilities:
-Observe a target each night and see what they do on another.

Attributes:
-You gain points depending on what a person does to another person.
-It can reveal what you have observed to the town once per game.
-You cannot visit the same person twice in a row.
-If an observed target visits the same target as any previous observed targets. The target of both of them will die. Look in examples.

Goal:
-Get a multiple of 5 points by the time you die.

Positive points:
-Investigating / Forging - +1
-Hypnotising - +1
-Jailed + 1
-Guarding / Ambushing / healing - +2
-No visiting / Converting - +2
-Igniting - +2
-Remembering - +2
-Successfully guarding / healing - +3
-Transporting / self visit - +4
-Disguising - +4

Negative points:
-Killing - -1
-Reviving - -1
-Hexing / Infecting - -1
-Executing - -2
-Control / Escorting - -2
-Blackmailing - -3
-Cleaning / Stoned - -3
-Doused - -4

Examples:

N2 C invests D (+1 point)

N3 E escorts B (-2 points) - B dies "They where pressured by a Observer"

N5 O dosnt visit anymore as they have 5 points.

Investigative Results:
Sheriff: Your target is Not Suspicious.
Investigator: Lookout, Forger, Amnesiac, or Observer.
Consigliere: Your target watches people from a distance, they must be an Observer!

self visits dont show anymore no other role in the game can see a person visit themselves neither tracker or LO can do this

your role would be an exception i assume, adding exceptions to role makes them less likely to added to the game though

the concept seems good

at first glance balance seems ok to me

only glaringly obv thing i see is no visit gives 2 points this is very very common thing i would make no visits give no points and take away no points

also doing nothing should make you lose a point like you got roleblocked or jailed

lastly you are missing some stuff like hexmaster and hypnotist (maybe also pirate and plaguebearer)
you should definitely have the first two though i feel like hexmaster should be loss of points and hypnotist should be gain points not sure how much though

Id need to talk with JGaming about some of this but this is what i think the answers should be -

Yes, no visits happen with 13 (3 half visit) roles all game, so maybe the points should be taken down from 2 to 1.

Lookout and Tracker are both TI so id assume both are investing
The "Reveal" makes it have an impact of the game other than the chance of someone dying because of this role.
The multipal of 5 could be changed to a diff number, ill ask JGaming

If it's not Chaos, what would it be? Can't be NB really, those shouldn't kill or at the very least shouldn't kill when it's out of their control. Can't be NE, it can harm evils just as easily as Town, they have no control over who dies. Can't be NK, doesn't kill enough. I doubt it'd belong to a faction.

That's one aspect of the role. Stop focusing one ONE part of the role, the ENTIRE REST OF THE ROLE is completely different. That means if two people visit the same guy, that one guy dies. That's different from Electrician anyway.

Observer -
O visits A - A visited B
O vists C - C visted B
B died. As 2 observed targets visited the same person.

Plus - totally different goals and thats only 1 part.

hexmaster visit is astral so you wouldn't see it so that would count as a non visit same with necromancer (sorta medusa without book)

psychic jailor mayor and medium and pirate don't visit during the night

any role that gets jailed or rbed wont visit

also even though you have them as points being jailed or rbed means you didn't visit so technically you did nothing with those effects i'm assuming they wouldn't stack and you wouldn't get the points for do nothing

you own description of the role is counterintuitive to this as well

the revealing is so it has an impact - ill get round to the other things you said but later

but revealing can get you killed thats its impact on you it doesn't matter what it does for the rest of the players
