Abilities
-Choose two people to trick at night.
-Tricking two players switches who their targeting against others.

-Your targets will not know they were tricked.

-Mafia chat
-Promotion

How it works Spoiler: This role functions as a reverse Transporter, and notably, does not give notifications to whom it targets. Also, it is the highest priority, even higher than Transporter. As it's evil counterpart, it rightfully should be.
So, Lookout is to Tracker, as Transporter is to Trickster.
All this role does is swap who you target, with one other player. Instead of swapping who targets you.

Escort: Role blocks James Mathis
Trickster: Tricks Investigator & Escort.
Result: Investigator investigates James Mathis, Escort role blocks Guiles Corey.
As mentioned before, you know not that you were tricked.

Notes Spoiler: Transporter, since this role has a higher priority, it will affect Transporter's primary target. The one they select on the left side. So if Trickster targets Transporter, it will switch the first target, and the other role's target.
This role cannot be role blocked, the only exception is getting jailed.
Same applies to Witch, in the case of Transporter.
Targeting roles that cannot target others, such as Survivor will make the other tricked player target the Player targeting the self, and the other player will target themselves still.
You cannot target Mafia

i think you may of subconsciously gotten this role idea from that thread and not realized it casue they are pretty much the same exact role

i do like your presentation of the role better and it does feel like it fits better in a faction then NE it

however

-Your targets will not know they were tricked.

that is extremely broken since it's a better framer cause they check person they didn't want to and get wrong results

the other version of this lets them know they were tricked

if insist on keeping they don't know they were tricked it needs limited uses for sure

edit: you never addressed what happens if one target does not visit anyone that night

fair enough it was pretty recent post though, i comment on a on roles though so i usually remember right away if the idea exists

how about the person with action that picked someone targets the other person who did nothing since in sense they targeted themselves by not visiting anyone
