It seems like a nice idea but I think it's a bit too similar to a bodyguard

Bodyguard kills its attacker, this role doesn't
Also Knight disrupts Town roles just as well as scum

How can they not die? Op because it deflects the attack and you stay alive. UP because killer doesn't die.
Scenario:
p1 is vig, p2 is retri, p3 is Knight

p1 finds p2 susp and attempts to shoot them.
p3 protects p2.
Does p2 die?

Nobody dies? Then how is that reflecting the attackers ability back on them?

This isn't really that different than a doctor. The main differences are:
- No 1-shot self protection ability.
- Protected targets will appear as immune, which will lead to framing and you possibly having to come up and making yourself an obvious target.
- For some reason nullifies TI, TK, Escort and Transporter.
- Can also harm scum, but really the only ones where this matters are consig, consort and framer (and BM, if they would use their ability).
- Screws over Arso - like Arso needs any more counters...

It's basicly a weaker Doctor.
You can call me Bod.
No, that's not my real name. Thanks for asking.

1) I forgot about a self-protect ability, I'll add that definitely
2) Mhm, I don't mind this
3) Yes it nullifies TK, like every TPro should and Escort is fine nullified as it is as envasive as killers sometimes but TI isn't nullified (still gets some results) and Transporter can still transport
4) This counters your overall view of it being weaker since it treats either side equally
5) I'm changing the Arsonists outcome later because it is OP atm for me

It's actually more powerful than Doctor (with a self-protect) as it can disrupt more roles and create a bigger impact

Witch isn't immune to being controlled, from what the Wiki says. If Witch 1 targets Witch 2, Wiki says Witch 2's first target'll change to Witch 1's second(or something)

I made a role called Deflector before you also and always wanted to revisit it with only recently realising that a deflector role can only really work as a town role

But really, frequently people come up with the same ideas, I didn't copy off of you but just came up with the same kind of mechanic as you

Who said this role was ever bad? It works in game, its balanced but just because it hasn't got a lot of support doesn't mean it's a bad role

And no it's not a buffed BG (why do people keep saying this), in fact the only similarity this has to BG is that it protects its target. BG kills a target's attacker and themselves in the process whereas the Knight deflects to Ability back onto them good or bad which is not the same ability
