TFM39: Communism UPick

A place where your role in society is chosen, and you will most likely die with nothing to your name. This definitely isn't communism, nope, this is UPick.

Rules:

Main/General Forum Mafia rules can be found here.

1) Titles: As this is not an official game, you will not be awarded a title for victory. Although, if you manage to do something legendary, you may become a meme.

2) Messages: Quoting/copying your rolecard or any moderator message sent to you will result in Modkill. Do not contact or discuss the game with anyone while the game is happening. Do not send Private Messages to other players about the game. Discussion of the game openly is what the dead chat is for. All PMs should start with "TFM39" or they will be ignored.

3) Post Content: Players who do not post in the thread within 24 hours will be prodded. If an additional 16 hours passes without them posting, they will be replaced. Two prods will also result in an automatic replacement. If your post after receiving a prod has no content (otherwise known as a shitpost), it will be viewed as a prod dodge and you will still be on the 16 hour timer.

4) Whispers, Last Wills, and Deaths: By default, there will be no whispers, last wills, or death notes. However, this can change depending on a role's functions.

5) Spam: Don't spam the thread. Whether this be with shitposts or even content filled posts, don't clutter up the thread a shit ton.

6) Player Etiquette: It is only a game, my friend. Keep your salt in your shakers and let the fun flow.

7) Gamethrowing: Do not gamethrow. I don't care what your reason is for gamethrowing, do not work against your win condition. This includes "Jesting."

8) The Reaping: After the sign ups are completed and the game thread is set up, all players must PM me their role name once I have requested it. You have 24 hours to send in your role name and an additional 24 hours to confirm after receiving your rolecard by posting in the thread or replying to the PM. There are no restrictions to what name you can use. After your name is received, Arcthurus and I will create a unique and private rolecard for you and you only. Maybe. I don't know. The game will start once every player receives their rolecard and has confirmed.

9) Spectating and Replacements: There will be no replacement queue nor will there be spectators (because I'm lazy.) If a replacement is needed, it will be announced in the Sign Ups thread.

This game has the possibility of being multiple things, including: unbalanced, bastard, unfair, overpowered, or underpowered. This game is meant for fun. Don't complain about what your role is, you get what you get and you know what you signed up for.

On the cold night of the bitter winter of 1964, thirteen men and women gather in the village circle. Their eyes glanced back and forth at each other, eyelashes crusted with frost. Icicles of mucous grew from their noses. Nearby the village sat a small graveyard. Multiple headstones are scattered throughout it, mostly belonging to men and women, mostly those who gave in to the winter. Some were executed by the government for treason, pledging themselves to the Golden West. But, there are few smaller headstones to indicate the final resting place of those who were taken by the winter before they even had a chance to live throughout life. Some women tear up when they see these graves, but they have learned to not do so if they wish for their eyes to remain unfrozen. The final thirteen wept for these fallen ones in silent, knowing that any tears shed for the traitors would result in them meeting a similar fate. They all wanted to cry their hearts out in sobs and pain, but they instead held hands...

The bitter thirteen then released their grips, and carried out their normal routine. Until, that is, a man discovered a dreadful sight: the soldiers that enforced the laws at the village were found dead inside of the well, riddled with stab wounds and reeking a putrid stench. The villagers panicked, knowing that they had to survive the next two weeks before the next food supply would come in. Hunger soon sat in, and following came paranoia and anxiety. Soon, the villagers found themselves back at the village circle, carrying out a discussion.
