Big into old school rappers like Tupac, Biggie, Warren G, Snoop, Dr.Dre, all the big time mofos who brought out the life in rap and actually had meaning behind their music (Will Smith, A Tribe Called Quest are also good)
Gotta listen to the new stuff, and Gucci Mane is pretty good I think as I have been following his collabs with Future, Lil Uzi, and a couple of features with Drake and Rick Ross. He's pretty good at trap and I think he's gotten a lot better, especially since his jail release (he was already good before, like way back in 09). Really impressed with him and his effort, especially for a man who spent some time behind bars.
J Cole's new album is pretty decent, I love his music and his new album may not have many bangers but it sure does have a emotional impact that people can relate to plus, he always brings out good music with absolutely no features!
Kid Cudi's new album is also good, has a lot of songs I that don't have many lyrics but they have good beats. Probably listen to less than half of the songs on the album but overall, really impressed how he came back from his mental state of mind to produce music once again.
