Pretty much this, the adamant discredit to it without taking it into account or just being cautious is concerning and the push on Cakez is questionable at best. Town should be considering all avenues of possibility not discrediting because of one aspect alone.

I don't think the Parity Cop should prepare for a role not guaranteed to exist. I can make the argument other means of protection such as transport and redirection are possibly in play. Of course they're not guaranteed to be present but that element of WIFOM is what keeps scum at bay.

The Parity Cop isn't marked for death if they claim.
