As far as we know, there are no neutral non-killing roles in the game. Our role cards don't imply that there are any. Setspec aside, we shouldn't assume there are weird neutrals in play outside of maybe slot-sharing ones and killing ones.

I think their win con isn't actually that though. It sounds like they have not exactly the same wincon as the town. Which means the PC can still be real and Mel's alignment cannot be determined by that.

OK so Metrion is the Parity Cop. The post said that Ignis was the one who found out the results.
Now. Is Metrion fucking with us?

Lets go over the facts:

FACT Metrion used a Day parity cop ability on Cy and Mel.
FACT Cy and Mel are different alignments.
FACT Metrion's flavour is Ignis (as per the OP).

Cy and STAA claim to be a Hydra slot.
Cy and STAA claim to know about each other and know that the other is Majority.
STAA is also the opposite alignment of Mel.

What this means:

Metrion is controlled by the real day parity cop, Relius.

If we lynch Cy and STAA and are wrong, we got two dead towns. If we lynch Mel and are wrong, we got one dead town. Seeing that this day parity cop is real, I believe it would be best to go or the best worst case scenario, and to go for Mel.

Though, I'd like more information before I lock us into a course of action.
