Why would you do that? I don´t know what is customary in FM(As I haven´t played that many games),but what I learned from ToS in general is that witholding Witched claims makes you look anti-town and scummy in general,and not claiming Witched can signal the Witch that you´re scum.


lemme explain the logics of FM....ahem :geek: (forget most of what you know in ToS) mafia (scum) has a daychat/nightchat which is active all the time if 1 of them were to be witched they could plan (in order to contact the witch) to "pretend" to be witched in that case the witch would know who not to witch of them (and town wouldn't even notice)

I already did answer that but keep in mind that mafia has a day/night chat so they can just chat whenever they feel like it and plan stuff
(just to be sure that one of the mafia didn't get hit.....then the witch would know stuff we don't)

Possible, but a bit risky. Generally that could be helpful to the evil roles, but I do give tips to them too so they might reconsider it. Or, it could easily be my goal - being extra helpful just to get attacked. In FM I always look for a way to get an upper hand

The game as a whole is longer than ToS (no, really?!?!?!), so there's more to analyze. Something definitely worth thinking about is what others know. Do try to stay out of the trap of only considering what you know. 90% of slips happen from the POV of others. "What did that fellow just say that DOESN'T line up with what he's thinking, said before, or definitely knows?"

I'd doubt any newbies dying N1. They're easy pickings. Especially if an IC is in the mafia.
People like Mroz4k on the other hand, *phew*, it's gonna be risky.
Though you would risk a TP on them N1, and they're probably protect anyways, so they might hit a newbie, but it all comes down to WIFOM.

This sounds like a bad idea. If you are Town, you really should claim Witched, you should claim all your real night results, aka Roleblocked, transported, etc. If nobody claims witched, we know evil role got witched, but by not claiming witched we are setting ourselves for less information early on. Who was witched and trying to figure out why can help a lot in deducing who is who, so its an important information. Sure, Mafia and Witch can use this to find themselves, however knowing a Mafia member as a Witch does not help them all that much, just tells them who not to control but thats pretty much all. Much more dangerous will be Mafia, finding the Witch and contacting them.

If Witch finds Mafia it might not be a bad thing too, because they might try to notify each other which means they might slip and reveal themselves. Regardless, we need all the information early on that we can get, so we should definitedly claim Witched.

Dont forget, if you claim Witched as a Citizen, the Witch might assume they took over one of the more important Town roles and might control you again, wasting their actions.

Unless Mafia rolls a Blackmailer,Witch will have a hard time getting in touch and obtaining all identities of Mafia members.

I'd rather not risk it but it depends on what the majority thinks about this because I've tried it all the other games (almost)

but so far I've seen people don't want to put this stragedy on here
it could make us avoid getting witched because you know if the witch did control a mafia and the mafia pretended to be witched then the witch would already know 2 mafia people which would leave the town more vulnurable than before (as there's 3 mafia :/)
