What would be the point of a briber if they win with everyone?
Also could you specify how they would control someones vote?

It should be a Mafia member, not Neutral Evil.

1. What would you want it to win with?
2. It makes the target unable to press the "vote" button, and a second button would show up beside the original vote button on your screen.

can you give me some reasoning to why it should be Mafia?

Why would it win with everyone else if it is Neutral Evil. It should be a Mafia member because it can prevent a Town member from voting.

Banker? Politician? Lobbyist? Governor? Ventriloquist?

Ok, I will set up a poll for the name.

so what happens if you commandeer a revealed mayor's vote? Would you take all three votes? would you take one?

If you take all three, then an achievement could be:

"Vote Heist" - Take the mayor's vote (15g)

I have always liked the idea of a reverse Blackmailer.

I agree that it should be kept in Neutral Evil though, as Mafia Support would make the Mafia too powerful, the same way the Witch would.

I also think it should have the same goal as the Witch "Survive to see the Town lose the game."
Sometimes it's nice to just watch the world BURN.

A role that changes another player's votes would fuck up the Trials system more than Disguising did for the longest time. We'd have no way to tell if the player voted for the revealed Mayor on their own, or was forced to. People could gamethrow with this role in play simply because we wouldn't know and have to either skip it or vote Innocent.

That's the whole point :/

well before people could report them smart people would probably realize if there was a NE role available, then they could be gamethrowing, or being controlled by a Politician. They wouldn't know for sure and hopefully would be smart enough to wait till the end of the game to see if there was a Politician or not.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm guessing you've never done Trials, so you wouldn't understand.

Actually, I can't. Not allowed to talk about it. First rule of fight club, you know?

The first rule of Fight Club is: You do not talk about Fight Club
The second rule of Fight Club is: You DO NOT Talk About Fight Club
xD

And I guess you have your own reasons for not liking this role in some aspects, and I respect that.
Any way I could modify it?

A notification saying someone was bribed at the start of the day would help, I suppose, but would be a big nerf.

Not really. Town already has Mayor. It is basically the reversal of Mayor.
