Mine was, that i played medium, and wrote in will on d1, that "n1: got killed by maf.", and i was actually killed by maf.. Half town claimed forger, and others simply told, that medium curse. On d2 a player got called out, and turned out to be exe. He was also medium... So yea by the time n2 started 2 med. was in the graveyard.

Someone in one of my games claimed psychic and somehow got confirmed, he ended up being jester.

Also one time in a 2v1 (vamp vs. vh and me, VH knew who vamp was), I voted up the VH acknowledging that he was VH saying "I don't know if I want to win with town or vamps", I inno'd and voted him back up three times. That last time, I was like "HATE ME" and voted him up laughing in chat and shit, then I inno'd him lol. He staked vamp that night and town won. One of my favorite moments in a game ever.

had 4 remaining players hexed, with pirate and jailor left to hex. Jailor exclaimed he was jailing and exeing no.4 (the pirate) that night, so by hexing jailor, hex bomb would ensue and i would win. Escort randomly RBed the jailor, so pirate wasnt executed...pirate pushed on me, I claimed i pirated the jailor, thats why no.4 was still alive, town voted me up and i got lynched. Pirate never revealed, but lost anyway due to game ending....... so close, after all that hard work, just to lose :/

So there's this game I had

I was Sheriff and I protected and confirmed a Vigilante and got a Mafioso lynched, as they were pushing on the Vigilante despite me confirming their innocence (I invested before GF died so I was sure the Vigi was inno). After lynching the Mafioso, Jailor gamethrows and executes me.

We're left in a 4-player scenario: 2 town, of which 1 is a confirmed Medium, another Town whose role we don't know, Mafia and a Witch. Everyone believed we were gonna lose and were raging on Jailor for gamethrowing. But then this happens.

Mafia attacks the Medium. However, it turns out that the other townie was a BG that protected the Medium! We didn't think he was a BG so Mafia dies and Town wins. No one really expected this. (BG was RT, we had a TP dead already)

So I'm a Coven Leader named Cream. I'm doing my thing, controlling people and tearing through the town. I recently got my Sheriff claim confirmed by calling out a member of the Mafia and getting him hanged (this was before the Sheriff nerf). Meanwhile, this guy comes out of nowhere and starts acting like a nutjob. He eventually gets hanged, and he is revealed to be the Executioner. His will consists only of this message: "EXE of Cream".

I have seen many plot twists over the years, but I think my favorite was an instance where there were like 4 SK and 1 arso (I was the arso), I was attacked and the person assumed I was SK when I came up immune. I rolled with it and we hung/burned the other SKs until it was just the two of us. The other person was a little heartbroken but took it in stride.

Psychic is my favorite Fakeclaim as a neutral in coven, as you just have to get lucky N1 and you can scumread mafia/coven for later nights. It's easy to get "confirmed" but people rarely question it in my experience.

It was actually my friend with the username "Duck" that did this. He has played some of the early forum mafia as well so if anyone can go give him a shout out, please do so. This game was back in 2015 so forgive me if I am a little hazy.

Me and a few other friends are playing. Us 5 were all in a call together including Duck. We had no idea of each others roles and were happily killing each other off game after game, just laughing about it. Anywho...

It comes down to 5 people left. There are 2 mafia (Godfather and an old Disguiser). The disguiser had switched bodies into the body of the mayor, which was fun because everyone knew as he wasn't cleaned and the mayor had a will. There was an SK out there, an investigator and good ol' Duck, he never claimed and at this point. We were all too worried about getting rid of the SK. The investigator was just pointing out who the disguiser was and the SK was following very simply, it was easy for them to just keep going along with this. So the votes are locked. 2 on the disguiser and 2 on the SK. Duck is refusing to vote, but deathly quiet.

Then we continue, the next day arrives and I've killed the investigator and the SK has killed the disguiser. At this point we were convinced that it had to have been some sort of jester, but we are both pleading our case to Duck. I'm watching this along with all of my friends in call (We are all dead but Duck and he is still keeping deathly quiet). He decided to vote up the SK onto the stand. Of course the SK gets a little upset but that is the way of things back then in AA, SK wins were hard to come by, but nothing much could be done about this. The GF and the SK thought that they had to have been the only roles left that could possibly win this. But nobody was expecting what came next.

Final vote came up.

GF as voted Guilty.
Duck has voted Guilty

The game seems just about over. At night the GF goes to kill Duck. The night ends and what do you know, Duck is dead on the ground, his will comes up with just a "quack" in the will. Everyone thought it was over, mafia have been once agian too overpowered (6 man mafia was a regular at this time). Suddenly you see it, in the corner of the screen. The Mayor has been brought back to life. Duck was the retributionist that didn't use his revive until right at the last second.

Needless to say at the end of that the whole call went crazy, the ultimate play from a really good player of ToS. Well played Duck. One of the few games that I don't think I'll ever forget! Miss you buddy :')

I always use default names to slide under the radar. Then I proceed to lead the town as scum and reveal my role at the end i was spy all along ecks dee.

I was the Mayor, and acted like a jester for the whole game. It eventually ended up being alone with the sk. I prosided to reveal, and then vote him up and won the town the game.

Not unheard of but a classic, and I love the feeling it gives when it happens:
Arso, dousing all game when it says I've been doused, and I know then that there's another arso.
Clean myself off, keep playing, one of us ignites eventually and the whole town goes out in a blaze of glory with only us two arsos alive. People rarely know there's an arso at all beforehand unless investigative roles figure it out.

So, I don't know how but in games if I have a feeling someone is bad and I play it through they are almost always bad. So one game D1 I just saw someone and said 'They are bad, I'm guessing an nk but not sk'. They were arsonist, I got burned by D3 and won by D3 because I made sure in my will that town knew.

Every time there is a Veteran in the game I see them always ask for TP/LO and end up killing a bunch of town and absolutely no evils. At one point, I happened to be given Veteran and the first thing I did was the best and most subtle vet bait in the history of this game.

"I am vet baiting, don't visit me"

Of course, I wouldn't lie... so I alerted and killed six people. Four being town and two being mafia (mafioso and Janitor if I remember correctly), town accepted that I indeed did vet bait and laughed it off with me. Night hit, and I decided to alert once more and BAM killed someone. They turned out to be once again, a member of the mafia! I was laughing so hard and once again, the next night I alerted and killed the final member of the mafia.

We just had the SK to deal with and then we had an easy maf kill-less ranked victory, all because of the impatient mafia members who coulda just left lil ol' me alone.

There’s one I still remember from 3 years ago.

I’d like to preface that this was in classic and it would never work in masters, but I still feel proud of it.

There was SK and GF, and we were clearly about to lose. I was Doc and there was a vet in the game.

I whispered vet “how many alerts do you have left?”

“Just one.”

“Okay, save that last alert. I will keep healing you and write in my will that you have no alerts left.”

Here’s where I think my plan worked a bit. I did save the vet TWICE. Why the vet was attacked twice before the rest of the townies were dead is beyond me. So, I die, and my will said something like “been healing Vet since he’s the only confirmed town and has no alerts left “

It’s one vet vs SK and GF. All dead chat said “welp, we lost.” I told them all I lied and that he still has an alert left.

The next day, both SK and GF are lying on the ground while that beautiful vet came walking out of his house as the sole survivor of the town. Why GF attacked the vet when he actually needed the vet to vote SK, idk. But it was classic, so I’m not surprised.

It’s been 3 years since then, and after 2000 games, that’s still the one I immediately remember when this type of question comes up.

This one just happened, a bit of a twist for me. GF attacked me night before he was lynched, so he outed me as SK as he was dying. Jailer, Trans, and Med left over. I was feverishly rewriting my will for the third time (still hadn't had to show it). Jailer jails (and kills) the med, I'm transported and kill Trans. Just jailer and me left over next day. My first SK win.
