Posted: Fri Dec 29, 2017 9:26 pmFlow 2018 is a chat designed for tos players to get better at wolf in general. Wolf being mafia in your terms. However, we aren't here to fuck around and twiddle our fingers. We're here to get better at everything we do. Wolf, real life, other video games. We're constantly experiencing conflict and comptetition, and that's what makes us better. Bred by constantly pushing ourselves, that's how members get better. You push yourself until you think you can't anymore, and then you keep doing it. The mind is as much of a muscle as the body, and you must exercise it regularly to ever be competant. Some of our members also work out consistently, so if you're into that, that's chill. They give each other a lot of tips and keep a very consistent training ethic, and again, the mind is important, but so is your body.
A lot of our members do wolf theory, too. I know we've developed some of the meta you use today in ToS, and there's been a lot of good theory from our community. It used to be a huge community that constantly strived to create the best strategies, and it can return to that state. We dominated the threads at one point, constantly shifting the meta to where it needed to be and educating the ToS community on what good play truly is as well as balance. Speaking of balance, we had a lot of characters that loved to develop setups and talked balance all day. What's the best way to balance ranked? What about other gamemodes, do they matter? Classic, how do we balanace that while keeping a lot of the easy roles in for new players to familiarize themselves with?
There were a lot of good role ideas that came out of Flow. One that comes to mind was Exa's Scientist which is an incredibly detailed and well thought out role within ToS role ideas. We've had others develop role ideas, and while not so successful, they've received honest criticism and improved what they stand for. They've become better, and they're currently working on some of the best role ideas known to this forum. We improve every aspect of life. It's not just playing Mafia. It's not just thinking Mafia. It's about breathing Mafia, living Mafia.
I'd like to go more in depth, but you're just going to have to figure it out for yourselves. Whether you like it or not is cool, we're not going to force opinions on you. We value independent thought even if we think you're wrong, and we're excited to see what kind of potential we get in our chat.
