Ugh just had an gamethrowing mafioso reveal the maf and TT only to leave.

All because I did not want to attack the Mayor or Jailor

There has to be a harsher punishment for those who gamethrow like that.

Had a game as arso and accidentally left the WW alive. Had another game as arso and did the same thing, except that time there was another arso in the game and we found each other N1 and everything, coordinating doused and all. So frustrating lol I actually smacked my head into a wall

Probably my best coven VIP game ever.

It started off with PM leaving and CL getting pirate killed N1. HM got caught D2, so I was just a sad little solo Medusa pretending to be Trapper.

No one ever bothered to visit me. Pirate bug stopped CL's control from being stoned. Luckily, vig shot the Pirate N2 and BG walked into the Crusader's sword. These kind of mattered.

Another bit of luck came along when both really Trappers ended up being super sketchy. One claimed to trap the crus (they didn't, I was able to kill crus next night) and the other trapped the psy. I cc'd them and got them lynched.

The next day, with the crus down and the GA->Survivor murdered by vig for some reason, I thought my goose was cooked. I just coyly stated that they can lynch me to narrow it down if they wanted to, but since the Crusader was killed, the other real Trapper got lynched.

The jig was up. I was the clear evil, but all TPs were dead. A transporter was in play. I figured out the VIP was probably the Tracker with no will, and it was obvious who they were. I took a chance, went to their house and gazed. I was transported, despite the town's pleas that the transporter let the vigilante do their job.

The next night, I was unscathed. The VIP was left to defend themselves...it didn't go well. The vigilante was made to shoot the Psychic courtesy of their Transporter. Town screamed bloody murder, accusations were flung in all directions, but I was victorious...the sole winner, as my coven had long since lost all hope of victory.

I was a Jester, and someone was pretty clearly blackmailed. Right at the end of the day, I whispered them ":)".

Naturally, they pushed me the next day, so all I had to do was throw out a flimsy Medium claim on the stand.

Just had a lovely game of 5-maf ranked where us and the witch lynched the jailor on D4 with majority

Now, occassionally I like to pop back into classic, for the sheer amusement of how things can go (this game was back before the mafia buffs, but since i've not been on the forums long I will share it, I guess). This was the first time I ever had a solo win as Random Mafia (in this case, framer), and I have been able to repeat this success a few times since in Ranked Practice, but anyways... Time for a comeback story...

Night 1 the Mafioso quits. Fun. Just what I always wanted, just me and Godfather ... I frame some one and he kills someone, the vigilante. All good, no complaints. Day 2 rolls around and the lookout just happens to be on the person the Godfather kills. I feel my heart sink, as if I know 100% what is about to happen next. However, the good news was the Jailor jailed the Serial Killer Night 1 - so at least no Jailor issues. I watch town vote up the Godfather, and I sit back and think, 'Please claim something... you know... sheriff... investigator... even vigilante...' The Godfather claims executioner. I'm now somewhat annoyed. He could have claimed ANYTHING else but an NE role. So out of frustration I type in chat, "Why claim Executioner? That is the worst thing you could ever try and claim. Guilty. This is evil. Doc and Lookout on the Medium. Medium find out who the Serial Killer is."

Night 2, things go from bad to worse. Yes it was possible. I killed the Jester. The Jester was also shot by the Random Town Vigilante. So Random Town is now claimed - fun for me. But it gets even worse... the confirmed Investigator - (who found the medium n1) just found me as Vig/Vet/Maf. I have no choice. I claim to be the Vigilante who shot the jester. I expect death that night. The Vigilante who shot the Jester didn't counter claim me. A minor silver lining appeares from no where, as the Serial Killer killed the escort. So I now can't be role blocked at all. The Medium reveals who the Serial Killer is, and the day is spent lynching them. I am the last killing evil by Day 3.

Night 3, I pick off the Lookout. I expected Doc to be on them but whatever. I wasn't shot. I am alive on Day 4, somehow. Now, this is where things really got messy. The Investigator checked the real vigilante. I had to stall the vote for the day, or I would be hanged on Day 5 as mafia. So I spend the entire day pushing the executioner. The executioner had made a deal with the town, so they weren't going to lynch him, but the vote was split long enough to make night come.

Night 4, I have accepted my death. It never came. Day 5 comes around and the investigator is dead, as is the Sheriff, who was exes target. I go to write that I shot the investigator in my fake will. But I pause for a moment. What if, I was to say I was going to shoot my counter claim... but accidentally shot the Investigator? I knew this probably wouldn't pass in Ranked Practice or Ranked, but it was worth a shot, and town lapped it up. The Executioner, now Jester offered to kill the 'Mafioso' for us. So we all agreed, and voted him. Before night fell, I told the Doctor to self heal, to which he replied he couldn't, and asked him who he should heal. Immediately I thought to ask him to heal me, but then I realised I was supposed to be dying... so I asked him to heal the medium and hope for the best. I make sure I vote innocent on the Jester.

Night 5, I kill Doc, and the Jester uses his haunt on the dying Vigilante, leaving just me and the Medium.

What I learned from this game: Never give up, even if it really, really looks bad.

In one of my games, there was a consort turned mafioso left and 3 townies. Everyone knew who the consort turned mafioso was, so it should've been an easy win, right? Nope. One of the townies, a default name, was afk. So naturally, the other townies and I were pissed and all reported the afk townie for gamethrowing. At that point I just got up to get myself a drink, but when I got back, the game had ended and the town won. At first, I thought that the townie had gotten back but the alive players show only the afk townie and the mafioso. Turns out the afk townie was a transporter and the stalemate detector gave town the win...

I just played again that was batcrap crazy. There was a Jester, a Doc and an Executioner (who had won but was acting like a Jester), and 3 Mafia. The Jester got hanged (I inno'ed), Doc got revenged. Then the next night, the Exe got hanged (I inno'ed). The 3 Mafia probably thought I was Town, maybe Veteran.

Except...

I was Werewolf, and never attacked in the game (nor was I attacked myself.)

GF and Consort visit. Rampage.

I win, saying, "Well, well, well... Mafia win, huh?" The Jester and Executioner were especially pleased.

Awesome game I was just in. I was Framer.

N1-Witch controls our hypno into the veteran and we attack the witch, there are no town deaths. The executioner claims they were bmed, which we of course go along with. Town does VFR but luckily skips mafia members and causes the mayor to reveal on the third trial. Player 1 claims ret on the stand as well. To make things worse for mafia, the LO saw the mafioso attack the witch and is sus of us both.

N2-Our GF is jailed so it's not looking good for us at all. Since there are no spies I figure I can get away with a frame, so I target Player 1. The mafioso targets the jailor on accident and dies to the BG but the jailor did not execute the GF so all hope is not lost. The witch controlled the LO into the vet and killed them. I immediately claim sheriff and say that Player 1 is sus and the Exe backs me up! The ret is their target and so with two "sheriffs" on one person who is sus (And the exe's claim that there is a bmer makes framer impossible) we get them lynched. When it shows they are ret, the exe and I both say there must be a trans.

N3-The jailor executes the witch. GF targets the mayor since a LO and BG are dead, it works and they mayor is dead. I claim that I checked the exe and they were inno, a different sheriff says that the exe is sus (I didn't frame them so I still don't know how he saw them as sus, but it doesn't matter). The exe claims that they were transed and we both call for the trans to reveal themselves. Nobody talks so town puts the exe up and lynches them, I was the only inno.

N4-Jailor jails me and plans to execute me, the GF decided to attack the jailor and either die by hidden BG or get an extra day. I convince jailor that there is a trans and the real sheriff who came out was fake because exe doesn't show up as sus. He believes it and doesn't execute me! Jailor dies and now it is 4 v 2, Gf and I convince town to put up the sheriff who saw the exe as sus and it works! Town lynches them and they were inno.

N5-GF and I realize we won and celebrate in chat, we kill the medium which makes it a 2 v 2. We reveal ourselves and thank the executioner for his help.

N6-We kill the remaining town member and lynch the veteran! Mafia wins! When the hypno died N1 I thought all hope was lost for us but we were able to turn the tides by creating as much confusion as possible.

Best game I've had? Was Retributionist, and the other players alive are the following: Vampire, Mafioso, Werewolf.
Unwinnable, right? Well that is not so. I fake claim as witch and call out that this vampire (who had been quietly converting people all game) as being "last townie/vamp" and convince Mafioso and Werewolf to hang them. The next night, the Werewolf kills the Mafioso. The following day, I say "well fuck i guess that game was unsalvagable" "im the last town" the werewolf says "which town exactly?" and i say "jailord, but lost exes kekw" and i also said "i wont jail u, you deserve this win" and the following night, I use the dead bodyguard on myself. The werewolf attacks me.
Interestingly, every single town role can win in this 1v1v1v1. (say, a sheriff is the townie) So what the sheriff does is claim Witch, lynch the werewolf with the rest, and have mafia and vampire trade kills. Arguably, Retri is the hardest to win as while keeping ww alive.

Claimed GA day 1 as the VIP, got CCed day 1. Day 2 rolls around, 4 coven and the GA vote on me, we lynch 1, vig shoots another n2, another gets lynched day 3, The final coven member claims Doc [my role] because he attacked the crus, who was healed by me, I CC him, but town are convinced Im a troll and trying to get the doc hung in an attempt to throw.....this continues for 3 days, until [the minimal remaining] town figures out that the only possible role I can be is doc..... 2000 IQ play made to look like a 10 IQ one -_-

That's not really a dumb play you made...
I remember when I was jailor and 2 doctors healed me the same night. I thought one of them had to be lying because I only got 1 message. I ended up executing one of the "confirmed" doctors. That game really was awful...
I also had some investigator screaming me via whispers (the irony) to execute some framer/jester, even threatening to throw if I didn't. At that point I was exhausted of everyone calling me an idiot, so I made more mistakes. I ended up lynching the obvious jester, who happily haunted me. Town still won with pretty much all members alive, but it was a horrible experience.

i have a couple.

in one game (ranked practice, during season 5), i was framer. i decided to fake sheriff. on d3 i said someone was sus (who i had previously framed). turns out they were jailed, but everyone thought i was exe so they ignored me, thus my fake claim was changed to exe. however, it later turned out that my "target" was the real exe. i was super embarrassed. i got jailed one night and the jailor tried to exe me but was rbed by our consort. in the end, mafia won and i survived

in the second game, i was lookout in (i think) ranked practice season 4. i visited the jailor n1 and got a bunch of people visiting them. one person, who i didn't see as a visit, claimed to have visited the jailor. obviously i outed and pushed this person. when they were lynched, they came up as town. turns out they did actually visit the jailor but i didn't notice it.

We get down to a 2v1 against the last Townie, and I tell my target not to kill in case they're a Veteran.

Of course, they revealed as the Mayor the next day.

The stupid part is that I would've won if the Townie was an alerting Veteran and my target attacked them, since GA conversion takes priority over the endgame detector thingy with nightkills but doesn't with lynches.
