You can't play privately unless you get 14 people to play with you, or unless you join a dead gamemode with a least 7 people, hoping no one else will join. I do think private lobbies would be great, feel free to check my signature.

Regarding your invitation, I haven't played this game for a while, I'm not available. You should join a discord to get players, I think there are a couple.
