Ranked Placement Games Aren't Going too Hot

I am consistently having the worst luck with my ranked placement games. Season 4 I finished in diamond, and yet I've been placed with horrible players. My first game, escort repeatedly roleblocked me, the doctor, allowing the mafia to win. Second game, I died n1 so I wasn't even able to contribute anything. Town lost because jailor executed the retributionist.

I'm done with this.

Yeah the matchmaking for placement games is oddly bad

It's much easier to climb to a higher rank after placements though, so if you can just make it through the 10 games you'll probably be fine

They only sound like bad games for town. They were both really good games for mafia. Those guys are having the best luck with ranked.

If you are having a bad run, take my advice. Stop - take 10 mins - come back. It is just how it goes sometimes. No point getting worked up and making yourself agitated and more likely to have a bad game. .

Waiting a bit also means you're less likely to queue with the same people that you keep having issues with
