Hello, and welcome to survivor Halloween edition. This is by far the spookiest survivor yet.
Now let me tell you a few things

The Basics
Survivor is a game of lying and deception where you make alliances and vote each other out in attempt to become the Sole Survivor. Everyone is divided into tribes that compete in challenges, where the losers go to Tribal Council and vote someone out of the game. Once there are a certain amount of people left in the game, the tribes merge and the challenges become individual based- where one person wins immunity to the vote and everyone else is at risk. You can also search for Hidden Immunity Idols which can keep you safe from being voted out. Once there are only 3 people left in the game, the power shifts to a jury made up of people who were voted out later in the game. The jury then votes to decide which of the three finalists wins the Title of Sole Survivor and the 1 Million Dollar grand prize.

The Phases
Each phase will last approximately 24 hours. There are two types of phases: Challenge and Tribal. During challenge phases, everyone competes in the challenge by following the directions posted by myself. Some challenges will last longer, but most will be done within 24 hours. During the Tribal Phase, the tribes that win immunity have free time, whereas the tribes who lost must use this time to strategize with their allies and determine who to vote out of the game. You will have 24 hours to get your votes in to me, and afterwards the votes will be revealed and whoever has the most is out of the game.

The Rules
Rules:
1) All ToS Forum rules apply. Harassment, racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other generally unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.
2) Be active. Joining this game will likely be a 5-6 week commitment with something happening in the game just about every day. Do not join this game unless you are confident you be active for most of this time. I understand that things come up and we all have some semblance of a life outside this forum, but please let me know of such occurrences so I'm not wondering why you're inactive. Failure to vote or participate in a challenge before the deadline will result in a prod, which you have 24 hours to respond to. Failure to respond to a prod or receiving your 3rd prod will result in automatic replacement from the game. In addition, failure to vote before the 24 hour deadline will result in you automatically voting for yourself. If you are anticipating an absence, you may send in your vote ahead of time if you wish.
3) ABSOLUTELY NO SCREENSHOTS OF ANY KIND! This is a game of lying and deception. If you can easily prove that someone is lying by screenshotting a conversation, it defeats the purpose of lying and deceiving.
4) Do not copy-paste any private messages from the host without prior permission. An exception to this rule is if it's for a challenge.
5) No outside communication or cheating allowed. It will not be tolerated. If you would like to create a private alliance chat on discord, that's fine, but I must be added to any and all such chats that are created.
6) Don't be salty. It's just a game.

Other things
1) Any discrepancies in the results of a challenge that are not specified in the challenge rules are strictly within my discretion. In these situations, the host's word is law.
2) In the event that someone is kicked from the game or requests replacement, someone from the backup queue will be asked to take their place. If a replacement cannot be found before the conclusion of the next Tribal Council, the slot will be modkilled and Tribal Council will be cancelled.
3) In the event that a vote ends in a tie, a revote will occur where only those who are not tied for the most votes will vote, and can only vote for those in jeopardy. If this revote ends in another tie, the vote becomes deadlocked.
4) If there is a deadlocked vote, those who were in trouble become safe along with anyone who otherwise have immunity and everyone else becomes subject to a random elimination.
5) Any situation where a Deadlock occurs and leaves less than 2 people left who are subject to random elimination will result a mini-competition between those tied with the most votes to determine who is out of the game. This most commonly occurs in the Final Four but could theoretically happen at other points in the game as well.
6) In the event that all votes are cancelled out by idols, a new vote will occur wherein those who played an idol are treated as if they had individual immunity. You cannot play an idol for this new vote.
7) Any other controversial occurrence that is not specified in this thread will be solved at the host's discretion.
