Alias: The Contortionist

Quirk: Rubber physiology. Every part of him can bend in unnatural ways - far beyond any normal contortionist, and most impacts bounce right off of him. His body can also stretch like a rubber band without any harmful effects to his body. Just like a rubber band, however, the more he stretches, the more prone to injury he becomes. He can choose to stretch or shorten his body back to its normal length, but enough force can cause his body to stretch without his doing.Due to the rubbery nature of his body, he is not capable of much in the way of physical feats.

Character Description: He wears a skintight sleeveless shirt with long pants, in the signature style for an employee of the Royal Circus. His shoes are mostly a purple hue with the heels are a solid red all the way through. Golden buckles top each foot. The left pant-leg up to the waist is the same purple, and the right pant-leg is red to match. Adorning his waist is a gold belt, and his top has the opposite color scheme to his pants - that is, red on the left and purple on the right. His face is covered by the signature golden mask of the Royal circus, and to top it all of, a jester's hat lies in rest on his head. The mask is barren of any features, save eyeholes to see from. The hat is colored to match his pants. Bells hang from his hat, a golden collar around his neck, matching bracelets on his arms, and his shoes. His entire outfit has gold thread along the seams, and his nails are painted to match.

Occupation: Royal circus worker.

Those on the northernmost edge of Greenleaf began to notice something, a large convoy of vehicles coming from the direction of the royal castle. As the convoy came nearer, bright colors could be seen and cheerful noises could be heard on the wind. Some had guessed this would happen while others were totally surprised. The circus travels to towns on a seemly random basis, however it had been quite a stretch since the last visit. Children began to spread the word, and soon most of the town knew. After some time at their leisurely pace, the traveling entertainers reach Greenleaf. Just as they begin to set up shop, an explosion can be heard from the marketplace. A few less busy workers run to investigate.

Incinerator is about to kill the man but notices the workers, and he calls to them in a monotone deep voice.

"Go away, this is none of your business. I'd rather not get some simple workers killed under my name."

He releases his right-hand while aiming, and the man before him cowers as the fire surrounds him.

The building behind the man begins to catch fire, while the man is flailing in pain on the ground.

"Shit."

He raises his left hand into his face, and a small burst of flames is released, burning a bit of his mask, showing a charred face.

"I uh, didn't mean to do that."

He holds his right arm like its in pain and he turns towards the workers.

"I'm just going to leave now, I hope one of you have got a water quirk."

Alexa is browsing the marketplace for a new knife, she'd been needing one for a while, when the explosion jarred the girl from her thoughts. Walking cautiously towards the scene, Alexa arrives just in time to see a large man, obviously with a fire-related quirk, send a small jet of flames into his face. Her eyes widen in shock as she slowly nears the man.

"You're hurt."

She says this as a matter of fact, looking at the man and tilting her head.

"I assume you'd like some help with that?"

He just laughs.

"Didn't you just see what I did? I am pretty sure you wouldn't want to help me."

He releases his fists slowly, no flames come out.

"This quirk was simply a late development, that's all. No need to worry about me, still working out the quirks of it"

He clearly is smiling at the pun, as if he isn't taking the situation seriously.

All of the workers but one rush to deal with the fire, either escorting citizens away or trying to prevent it's spread, using their various abilities. The Contortionist, as those who invest time into the circus know him, approaches Incinerator. The jingling bells on his costume betray the serious nature of the events going on around him.

The fool crooks his head to the side and stares for a long moment, before speaking in an overly cheerful and off-putting voice.

"You wouldn't happen to know why my friends and I heard a big boom earlier, wooooould you~? It doesn't have anything to do with that frightened looking man in the corner you were threatening riiiiiight~? I would hate hate haaaaate to bring you in on a wonderful day like today~!" He ends his final sentence with a short giggle, and crooks his head to the other side, waiting for a response. He glances briefly to Alexa, but deems her uninteresting.

At this, Alexa laughs as well.

"Believe me, you're far from the worst person I've come across. Besides...I know what it's like to lose control.

She gives a chuckle at the corny pun.

"And anyways, I like puns. Clearly you can't be all bad if you do too."

Toxin keeps rushing from store to store trying to catch this criminal. And fails - horribly.
She ends up sitting on some half-broke bench sad like usual after they failed. She gazed at the corner of the next shop she was going to explore, but she saw something more peculiar. It was a man - he was dressed in all black and appeared to have a rather weird symbol implanted on their forehead.

One of the men points to Toxin "That's her"

"Well fuck"
Toxin swiftly jumps of the bench and runs directly towards the nearest alleyway.

At this, Alexa laughs as well.

"Believe me, you're far from the worst person I've come across. Besides...I know what it's like to lose control.

She gives a chuckle at the corny pun.

"And anyways, I like puns. Clearly you can't be all bad if you do too."

He smiles.

"Well, I can't give my real name because I would inevitably be tracked down by some pissed off gang, but my alias is Incinerator. Nice to meet you, catgirl."

"Yeah, that boom was me. The guy had a quirk that created a strange flammable gas, so I made a bigger blast then intended."

He then realizes.

"Wait, you're going to 'bring me in?' Are you some weird royal guard with a strange costume?"

He stops smiling.

She raises an eyebrow as the newcomer's eyes pass over her. Alexa isn't used to being so blatantly ignored. She figures it's the cloak though, it was meant to hide her quirk, and it seemed to be working so far.

"And you are...?"

Alexa then turns her attention to Incinerator.

She's quicker to pick up on the situation then Incinerator though, and frowns slightly.

"What exactly has this man done to warrant arrest?"

She raises an eyebrow as the newcomer's eyes pass over her. Alexa isn't used to being so blatantly ignored. She figures it's the cloak though, it was meant to hide her quirk, and it seemed to be working so far.

"And you are...?"

Alexa then turns her attention to Incinerator.

Incinerator turns to her.

"I was just guessing based on what I noticed. You aren't really that good at keeping it a secret"

He moves his hand as if he's trying to wave away some smell.

"The smell gives it away. Unless you're a cat lady, I would wager the quirk is something feline in nature. If something is breaking the smell of the fire over there, it's a pretty strong smell."

He points at the back of her cloak

"Plus you have a shape in the clothing resembling a tail. Pretty strange. Actually, it's pretty strange that you were even slightly surprised."

He empathizes the word annoyingly.

"The only thing I don't know is how much feline qualities you possess. Most hybrids just look like animals, but some actually have abilities from the animal they are a hybrid of"

Alexa smiles and lifts the hood of her cloak up, staring at Incinerator with vivid green eyes.

You'd be surprised how unobservant people can be. And to answer your question, I do have some catlike abilities."

She abruptly stops and sniffs her arm.

"Do I really smell that bad?"

He turns towards the jester.

He grins.

"Wait, you're part of the circus right? Man, it feels good to see it in town again."

He's completely oblivious to the Jester's strange actions, still not realizing that he probably killed some guy in the street and the clown was clearly talking about arresting him.

He glances over to another worker for a second at most, then looks back. To the untrained eye, it looks only as if the other worker had to itch their nose, however someone paying close attention would see this as it really was, a signal of some kind.

"Well the normal guards shooooould be here any second now, so I suppose they can clear this mess up~! Nice to meet you, friend~!"

He offers his hand to shake.

Toxin starts to sprint now, they run across the whole street scared of what's behind them. Then she's stopped by the same guy who spotted her in the first place.
"Uh... hi.." she chuckles a bit

He looks at her with an empty expression.
"You think this is funny?"

"Not really.."

He looks at her with a grim expression and leans close, close enough for her to see the symbol anyways.
She takes a closer look at it, she doesn't see it there...

"What happened t-" "Scarlett. Not the time. What were you even doing this time?"

...Trying to catch a criminal~

The man looks at her with a dull expression
"We're sick of you trying to be a hero. It's exhausting. You're nothing more than a little girl trying to prove herself more than she was brought up to be."
"Clean up your act"

He walks away, leaving Scarlett speechless. She told herself that she was probably just tired and needed some sleep..
"Hey... can I at least have a ride home?"

The man sighs and walks back towards her

Alexa smiles and lifts the hood of her cloak up, staring at Incinerator with vivid green eyes.

She abruptly stops and sniffs her arm.

"Yeah, those 'regular' guards are probably going to not do anything. We have a history. So I'm just going to go now and collect my day's worth"

He slowly backs away, before starting to turn to run.

He stares at his hand for a few moments without making a single sound, and then waves Incinerator off. He then begins to round up his gang of goofs, some of which are scanning the area, others browsing the shops, all of them doing mundane things. Most of the townsfolk seem to be giving them space, and the shopkeeps do not meet their gaze. Typical of most commoners around people with ties to royalty.

She nods, agreeing with Incinerator.

"Yes, I suppose you have a point.

Alexa then registers the exchange between the other two, and runs after Incinerator.

"Hey, that's quite rude there Mr. Jester."

While running, she turns and gives the jester a fanged smile.

"See you later then."

Scott walks out of a bar. He feels too fucking bad. He can also see a burning building.
Shit, here i go again.
Scott begins running over to the place. There is a man trapped below a collapsed piece of floor.
Scott tries to lift it but he is unable.
HELP! FOR HELL SAKE, HELP ME!

Here's how passage of time works in the RP

1 week IRL is 1 week in game. This is to keep events moving forward so we aren't on one day forever. The roleplay in an area will NOT be affected by the week system, but it's simply a measure of time. The OP will note the current week.

However, the actually events of the RP are SNAPSHOTS of the events that week. Weeks ending do not effect these unless you choose to.

So that means the rest of the week is life shit we don't care about. This is simply so we don't have a conversation that in canon took a week to finish.

Basically its just a measure of time that doesn't need to be followed 100%.

After running for 5 minutes, not noticing her chase after him, he takes a sudden right into an alley and sits down behind some trash piles, clearly exhausted.

He breathes heavily and takes off his burnt mask, revealing an average face with short brown hair. His face has burn scars all over it. His eyes are red, the only differing feature of his face.

"Fuck that was too close. I should be glad those freaks didn't chase me."

He then turns to the left and sees Pardalis there, and then quickly puts the mask back on.

"Seriously!? Listen, my client probably won't like the fact someone followed me to him. So I advise you to stop following me when I start moving again."

He sighs as he looks at his horribly burnt right arm.

Jimmy cancels the sales after he discovers that his client is using the money for some bad purpose which won't be in his interest for it to happens. He re-sell the information to the company in exchange for some money and takes his briefcase. He hires a nearby coach and goes to the small town everyone's in. He rents an apartment and sets up his equipments. Exposing a wire from the nearby outlet, he touches it and is transferred to the electronic world. He browse the data until he finds Incerinator's client by chance.
