I do need to average at least one challenge per cycle though

Besides, that thing about information? Also reveals information to those who wish to find the Poisoner.

Fair point

You can dance in the corner. The stranger with the tambourine can play a little jingle if you wish.

Behind the Mask: Episode 12 - Challenge Phase 4 (8/15)

The Fairy guesses the Sturgeon as the Knight!
Spoiler: They are incorrect.

With the exception of a slight squabble between the Fairy and the Sturgeon about swords and whatnot, the group came to settle down and feast for dinner. Considering the security of the previous night, they had no concerns for their well-being. The dish of feature was an exotic array of fish, with some woe to the kitchen staff who had to prepare such an odorous meal.

Regardless of the chef's tears, the meal was divine. As expected of the court. More so reason to invest in such a prized property.

As the meal progressed and the flayed skin of fish became devoured, it was noticed that the servants were significantly more beaming. Perhaps from the recent upsets of the Vulpine. The black-cloaked stranger was nowhere in sight, however. One could assume he was an executioner, of sorts. Called in for the occasion, perhaps? If so, did he also deal with the Gorilla? Did he arrive late to the ball? Or was he simply only needed then? Much is undetermined.

Even so, these thoughts were far from the players minds. Thoughts strayed anywhere from the food to the next day, and any area between. But for one, their thoughts were suddenly intruded. Violently.

The Mocking Bird's gullet had repelled a particularly small fish bone. Someone had not gutted the fish correctly. The Mocking Bird went to raise their voice, until a sudden cough overtook them. Instinctively, the Bird has used their hand to cover, then a nearby cough. Eventually, it calmed down. Somewhat.

Then the bird, returning to their meal, noticed a red stain across their palm. Slight, like spots of berry. Unfamiliar, but unaware regardless. Then the second uprising of the gullet began.

It turned violent.

As the stomach betrayed its master, the Mocking Bird watched in expressionless self-horror as blood spewed like a damned pipe from her mouth. Pain flared like heat as more of the bile swept from her stomach up to the roof of her nose. The meal was audibly and physically ruined by now but that was far from the Bird's mind.

Staggering to their feet, the Mocking Bird reached a pale hand over to the servants, who had noticed the commotion. They immediately raise for water and to comfort the Bird, but pleasantries does not fix illness. As the jagged coughs continued into the dozens and demi-dozens, red spots began to decorate her eyes as she screamed a moist cry. The others had already stopped, far before. Memory relapsed amongst themselves as they are reminded of the Snake, who had passed away oddly the night before. They now had their answers.

There was no course of action. No further action was needed, either. As coughs faided into mild gurgles, the Mocking Bird mocked no more. She had ceased singing, and by the time professional help had arrived, ceased breathing.

The Mocking Bird has been poisoned!

The plot thickens

Clearly, the Mockingbird should not have chosen the wine in front of her.

Would anyone like to challenge someone whose positions are known?
