Bells ring from the kitchen as tonight's meal is brought before the entourage.

As expected considering the feast that had presented itself before them that morning, evening dinner was a sight to behold. Lamb seemed to be the signature commodity of the meal tonight, assorted with a variety of vegetables, exotic meats and other estrange culinary choices. Despite everything that had happened in the afternoon, everyone seemed on much better terms than before. Why complain after all when such a proud feast lay before them? Now was the time to be merry and patient.

As minutes turned into hours and the night grew older, merry meanderings turned to exhaustion as the the drink and food brought with it the unease of sleep. Some made it back to their rooms, while most had to be cleared out by the staff in their drunken slumber. But as the staff made their rounds, their responsibility for the players certain, they would find one who would not wake. For it was the snake, perhaps as a complicated deception. It would not be until morning that the truth would come; that the Snake had been killed during last night's meal, drowning on his last supper.
