Due to an error on my end, I will allow another 12 hours before this phase ends, around 15 hours from this post.

This is also an opportunity for those of you who missed their gifts to get them in.

The Eagle takes a moment to stretch their bones and treat their bruises in the comfort of their room.

The past defeats had been difficult for the Eagle to accept; the Snake was just too good. With such high stakes on the line, losing at a time like this was unacceptable. Regardless, this game was not over. Not by a long shot - the game had just begun. That's at least what he was thinking as he washed his leg in a small water basin, courtesy of the court. One can imagine the immense costs of this entire 'game'.

As the Eagle finishes treating what remains of his bruises, he begins to hear footsteps, hard and firm, originating from outside his door. No surprise with the sleek wooden floors. As the Eagle turns to face the door to meet his supposed 'guest', the floor suddenly begins to cease creaking as the heavy sound of footsteps begins to increase in pace and volume. Naturally, the Eagle sense something wrong and moves to rise from the water basin only for the door to suddenly open with heavy force.

In one moment, there was only one in the room. And in the next, there was only one in the room. For by the time that moment was done, a gunshot had rung out from the room as the unfamiliar smell of gunpowder fills the air. A small iron ball, placed perfectly below the nostrils, had shattered the Eagle's jaw. And as their head fell back, bone seeping into the lung and eyes searching frantically, the last thing the Eagle sees is a brown-cloaked figure with a flintlock pistol in their hands and a strangely familiar mask on their face...

The Eagle has been murdered!

There's no mention of it in the rolecard. It occurs basically as soon as the moderator is aware and able during that phase.

Technically.
We using this method to not angleshot other roles based on when their power is used. (Sorcerer is an excemption because it reveal themself)
Thats why everyone says it is a more fair process.
