I'm sure no one remembers this but I'm really bored and uni starts next week so why not

How it works:
You are colonists who have landed on a strange island. Immediately, you split into several different nations.

Speech:
All players may speak here, in the thread. Each nation shall also have a Discord to speak in secretly, or maybe some people might be able to do other things, who knows? You can also speak on discord main chat.

Turns:
Every turn, each nation secretly submits an action to me. Some players may be able to do separate actions.
I will decide what these actions mean for the game, and RNG may have to decide some factors of it.
Actions can be anything from "build a seventy foot statue of my face" to "declare war on France" to "make a new meme".
Actions are submitted through your Nation's Discord, including personal actions (though specify as such). Pinging me would also help.
Each turn will end every 24 hours.

Events:
Based on your stats (introduced next section) I may also give you events you will have to deal with.
Every 5 turns I will also introduce natural disasters which you'll have to deal with. I will reveal the nature of the disaster 2 turns after the last (so ill reveal it on Turn 3 and it'll happen on Turn 5, then reveal it on Turn 8 and it'll happen on Turn 10)

Stats:

Since the last game went through a lot shenanigans I've decided to simplify things down a bit by introducing stats.
Political Power: This signifies your grip on the nation and ranges from 0 to 10. Low Political stability could result in takeovers from rivals.
Happiness: This signifies, well, your citizen's happiness. Ranges from 0 to 100. Low Happiness could result in revolutions.
Economical Power: This signifies how much money/economical assets you have. Can take any value.
Military Power: This signifies how strong/good your army is. 0 or more.
Technological Progress: This signifies how good you are technologically. It won't be a number but rather a list of things you have researched.
Others: This is a list of other notable things you've done.

Win Condition:
Your win condition is to eliminate every other nation.
But during the game you may change your win condition to anything you like, given that the host (me) and the majority of the nation agrees to it.

Joining:
To join, you must say "/join [nation] [title]", if the nation has no people in it you may name it.
For example, Billy Bob says "/join Nation 1(BillyBobLand) Super Chief" - this make him Super Chief Billy Bob of BillyBobLand, in this case he named BillyBobLand.
You may join either individually or as a group.

Welcome to the Nations News Network weekly update.

Today we are going to present the latest developments in all of the five fledgling nations in our newfound continent.

In the Necrocracy of Sazaroth there have been new developments in the mining industry as miners were trained and are prospecting for any rare minerals in their land right now as we speak. Reports suggest that results are expected by the end of turn three.

Meanwhile the leaders have sent a small team, headed by the Admiral of Magic, to prospects for oil underground. Due to the size of the team we are expecting their search to conclude by the end of turn three.

The Archlich have also established an agricultural society to prepare for development in the agricultural sector.

In Killermeme a development project has begun to improve housing and markets in the local area. The project is expected to be completed by the end of turn two.

The leaders have also established makeshift a research lab, school, and military training camp in hope of speeding future developments in those areas.

In Billybobland a grand parade was held, which substantially boosted the people's spirit!

To ensure the people's happiness the superchief have made a survey headed "What makes people happy?". The results of the survey is expected to be published by the end of turn two.

Superchief have also established a self defense class to help people against any criminals or evildoers who wish them harm.

In The Arctic States a large wall encompassing the whole nation is being built. Due to the grand scale of the project it is expected to finish by the end of turn three. However, with the help of the newly established Builders Guild, the built time has been lowered and is now expected to be completed by the end of turn two.

In addition to the Builders Guild, a research guild and a militia has been established by the Grand Duchess.

In Faerun an obscure religion named "Inthensium" has been established. While much of its core believes are made known the citizens are still skeptical of it.

The Nerd has also, in his spare time, folded a paper boat, airplane, and sword for unknown reasons.

Welcome back to the Nations News weekly update!

As usual we will dive right in to see the new projects each nations are working on.

In the Necrocracy of Sazaroth constructions have begun on factories. Our reports suggest that they are designed to manufacture tools and weaponry. Due to the scale of the project it is expected to finish by turn six at the earliest.

In recent days the Archlich was seen with a small team of cartographers surveying the land. Our intels suggest that they are planning trade routes to some of the other nations. As to who, we have no idea.

The War General prepared for war. Today he announced a small scale mandatory conscription (but also accepts volunteer). While this has somewhat increased their military might the citizens were considerably unhappy about the new arrangements.

The Admiral of Magic was seen cutting trees down. We do not know why they are doing. Honest, we're just as baffled as you are.

In Killermeme the leaders have begun construction on a wall. Yes, a wall, just like the arctic states did last turn. This would normally finishes by the end of turn four however with the help of their newly established builders guild, yes, builders guild just like the arctic states established last turn, this has been shortened to finishing by turn three.

They have also begun research on forcefield and anti-necromancy technlogy, which would finish by the end of turn eight. The long duration is due to the small team working on it and the strain of two technologies being researched at once, the only saving grace being the research lab and school they established the turn before.

The houses and markets from turn one were also finished, resulting in great joy and improved economical power in the nation.

In Billybobland the superchief has decided on a new direction for his country. They have decided a new win condition! We do not know what the condition is.

The superchief has started research on rocketry. It is estimated to finish by the end of turn seven.

He has also established an agricultural society and declared a Hami-lion as his national animal.

Apart from that the survey from turn one has yielded results. The said results are a closely guarded secret which we did not obtain.

In The Arctic States the great wall was completed! This should increase their defensive capabilities against any attacks in the future.

The Grand Duchess has also decided to start research on rocketry! With the help of the research guild it is estimated that the research would finish by Turn Five.

They have also established an entertainer and medical guild.

Furthermore posters were put up encouraging citizens to join the guild, increasing their membership and effectiveness.

In Fearun schools were built. Large, well equipped, well maintained schools.

The Nerd has also lined better pathways to improve transportation.

Small farms and better access of water were also made to improve the citizens' life.

With Sazaroth gearing up for war, Killermeme committing clear plagiarism, Billybobland and the Arctic States going on a space race, and Faerun casually existing, what would happen next turn is anyone's guess.

Breaking News!

Our reporters have found that a mysterious disease, dubbed "sleep fever", has begun spreading in all nations!

Early symptoms resemblance a normal flu however several days in the patient would develop signs of excess drowsiness, sleeping around twenty hours a day. Eventually this lead to death.

It seems that the disease is carried by the local population of mice, which is prevalent across the island. Some citizens in all of the nations have shown the mid stage symptoms of this disease and we estimate that by the start of turn five, if nothing is done to prevent it, the disease would spread to 80% of all citizens.
