Technetium wrote:Npromin1, my first question is for you:
In the final chance to play Idols, you played two, neither of which affected the course of the vote. By doing this, you demonstrated that you were capable of finding two idols and bringing them to final six. This seems like it ought to have made you appear to be very much a threat, and discussion in the Outpost at the time indicated that other Jury members apparently saw that as a poor move. Playing an idol on yourself just in case is understandable, but why the second idol play? Did you just want to show off that you had two idols, or was there something else?
Chemist1422, my next question is for you:
You say yourself that you have weaknesses in your strategic game. I'm not sure if this is true, as I don't think I'd know what makes a good strategic game. It's probably good that you recognize things you did wrong, though. What would you say you could have done better from a strategic standpoint?
Technetium wrote:My next few questions are for timur:
3. Why aren't you using color for your opening statement?
In every pass FtC colour was never used
4. So how long have you been allied with N, then?
since d1 i believe
5. Did this alliance persist all the way to final four or were you working against each other at that point?
it did until i saw N eliminate Sam who wasn’t even a threat just a loyal ally. Then i wanted him out for that reason but mainly cause he is my biggest rival this FTc. No offence to chem but his game had way more holes
6. If it persisted to f4, why did you want to take N to FTC? What makes you think you can beat him in FTC?
chem decided to vote javi with N instead of voting him. I didnt want N here
Another question for N:
7. How long of a time were you working to keep timur in the game, and if you were intending to take him to FTC, why him? What makes you think you can beat him in FTC?

This last elimination?

just the entire endgame

I had formed an alliance with N, gabby, and Javi back on the original tribes, which led to Javi returning and the other three of us surviving until merge. I wasn't actually voting directly with N between the Jamez and gabby eliminations because I didn't trust him due to Jamez's faulty info, but I voted with him on Mush because it was a chance to take out a threat and keep me out of danger, then on Javi because I didn't want to let timur manipulate his way to the F3 he wanted.

that mega alliance was constantly giving me anxiety throughout early merge
timurtheking wrote:Chemist1422 wrote:My game did have more holes, yes, but I think I did a better job at covering mine than you or N did.
Idk if we can counter point but you basically aimed on eliminating me for beig a threat nearly every tribal and failed. You didn’t cover that up much.
Me and N, didn’t really have much holes. Mid merge I personally had less numbers then you ally wise and still overpowered many votes and we ‘baited’ one of your idols.
Chemist1422 wrote:I think my main issue was trusting the wrong people at the wrong times and not trusting the right people at the right times. Me not trusting N led directly to the gabby elimination (which N lied about until F4 for some reason), then it almost got me eliminated at F6, but didn't because I trusted N to vote with me.
Of course, it's fair to argue that the reason for my distrust was a lie that I couldn't predict, either directly or indirectly from Jamez (he told me after his elimination that N was trying to blindside me and I didn't think he'd have any reason to lie).

no i mean like
N told me that in F7-8 he asked you to vote timur and you didnt
and after timur started winning immunities you felt bad for not voting with N so stayed loyal to him
is this true?

If that doesn’t show some impact i had on the game /shrug

Ya, I think anyone trusting N, except maybe Timur (and possibly even him), was a probable target.
I say this as someone who made what I thought was a fair deal with N, only for N to not hold his end of the deal up.
Good gameplay? Maybe. Should I still be upset about it? No. Am I still upset about how that elimination went down? Kind of.
Chemist: Is it true that you were attempting to eliminate timur throughout much of the game?timurtheking wrote:Chem just admitted he didnt vote out a big threat because he doesnt trust/like me 0_0
Being trusted and liked is a good way to not be a target, if my BtM experience is anything to go by.

It wasn't because I didn't trust/like you
It was because you clearly thought you could win an F3 with me/you/Javi and I didn't want to make it easier on you
You winning means I lose
