Potion Master Strategy?

The potions to reveal someones role or heal a team mate seem neat...but worth sacrificing a kill?

I save heals in case a Coven member says he is attacked by Pirate

To be honest I feel the reveal is underpowered now by the fact that Coven Leader can now see roles. The heal is a useful tool, though.

Even if the Coven Leader can do it, it's still useful to have another one. It's not underpowered at all, the Coven Leader just has a stronger version, which makes sense considering it's tied into their only ability, whereas the Potion Master has more to choose from. Potentially the CL could be a lot more useful than the PM, but that's just how the role is.

Also, unless the PM has the Necronomicon, they can't use any given potion more than once every three nights. Throwing a Reveal Potion at someone beats sitting around twiddling your thumbs because your Heal and Kill Potions are both recharging.

Oh yeah, never attack N1. Reveal, or if you think a teammate is going to die because of their name, heal them. Try to get some info from your Reveal, and get the CL's report. You might find someone early on that needs to die ASAP.

My strategy has been to keep quiet and use the reveal potions first and save the kill/heal potions until necessary. Pass the information along to my coven at night and let them do the dirty work. It did win us the game, but sadly I've only gotten to try it once.

I usually do this when I'm solo coven as potion master, I work as investigator and healer for first 3 nights, hoping i get jailed on the 2nd or 3rd. I usually go undetected
