What does the ToS community want to see?

If you've ever read some of my posts, then you know exactly what I would like to see changed and I don't really see that many people adding their own thoughts and ideas to it. There is no lie that there's a lot of people not happy with town of Salem right now for a variety of reasons so I post this question to everybody- developers, moderators, judges, jurors and simple players alike.

When it comes to handling reports, punishments, etc. What do you as a community want to see happen or changed or implemented?

I know there are several of you out there who have some ideas. Do not be afraid, the only bad idea is the one never spoken, contrary to what others say about mine :-P ..i have an old school mind set, im not really jamming with this political correctness, liberal, millennial nonsense.

Let your voice be heard.

The first two points are already a thing. Regarding your third point, care to elaborate more? When someone gets forum banned they cannot use the Trial System for that duration, since it requires the forum login to take the identity of the Juror and check if ther requiresments to use it are fulfilled. Boardwarnings aren't included in the check, though, however incorrect voting may lead the inability to vote.

Indeed you are correct, incorrect voting does lead to inability to vote.

I would like to see a ruling about achievements on the ToS Rules/Trial System. Certain achievements (Hex/Investigate/Ambush Pestilence) at best require a cavalier attitude regarding winning that would often be considered gamethrowing and I'd like either "Gamethrowing achievements" removed or an assurance people won't be punished for aiming for them.

On the trial side we cannot remove them, but yes its usually gamethrowing to aim for those.

I just played 5 games of ranked practice that had elements of gamethrowing in all of them.
- first jailed mafia revealed all mafia characters to jailor, instant loss for maf
- retri (after resurrecting a player) gave a false sherrif claim to town with a bad will during the tipping point of the game and defended it until they were lynched
- similar to above but this was invest that gave bad will that literally didn't make sense and was lynched tipping the game to evils
- I was escort, n1 rbed mafioso no mafia kills called out my rb (town didnt vote since only d2), d3 same thing no maf kills pushed for maf lynch town didnt vote, N3 jailed-gave my will to jailor explained no mafia kills, jailor exed me and town lost
- told lobby before game there have been so many gamethrowing, in this game someone revealed all mafia in town chat d2.

I get it when someone plays a role poorly, is a newb, or whatever but it's another thing when people are constantly intentionally throwing games. 5 games in a row and couldn't get a legit game.

My suggestions? Probably a reputation system of some sort. Maybe game modes that require a higher reputation to play in. I know certain playstyles, making a mistake, or playing as disguiser could trigger unwarranted complaints but I imagine a legit players reputation would still remain favorable over someone who intentionally ruins games.

You always have to look at a flipside of these things and something missing from the game is a way to give players positive points for good play. youd have to limit it somehow such as like throne of lies mvp votes. maybe once you accumulate a certain number of vote you get a star next to your name or something. Giving players something positive to grind towards can incentivize good play.

I believe the reputation system is nothing that would fit in the Trial System.
Aside from that, please mind Forum rule 7, as reviving a thread thats being older than a month without the OPs permission is not allowed.
