Retributionist is too powerful
Remove the role or update it. Ideas viewtopic.php?f=27&t=99329
Possible nerf?: Mediums can no longer speak at night. They can still confirm themselves by pasting what dead said, but it's harder now and multiple mediums cannot confirm each other.

Vigilantes throw the game too often
Deny them the option to shoot the mayor of their own free will, similar to how Mafia's cannot attack their allies. Note this applies in Ranked only where Vampires are not included in the role list.

Possible witch change?
Witched targets no longer receive a message - gives evils a HUGE buff. Perhaps spy can still see this?
- For example, they can claim that they visited jailor but LO didn't have them because they were witched.. develops a new meta.

Further NK buffs
Arsonist becomes immune to role blocks.
Escorts or Consorts distracting a Werewolf or Serial Killer on their killing night will simply get the message that they were attacked by a Serial Killer or Werewolf (as opposed to the specification of it was the target that they roleblocked).


The good that happened:
* Jesters can kill abstainers
* Arsonist cannot be killed by TP

I agree (as everyone does) that retri is OP. But I don't like nerfing the medium instead, since med is already considered a boring role, and this would make the role even more boring. There should be other ways of nerfing the ret. Several mediums confirming each other are also a problem, but maybe this could be helped by removing the TS slot? Or making the med an unique role? Even then, maf can still confirm each other by claiming medium.

The problem with making vigis unable to shoot mayors is that sometimes mayors are throwing and town has to get them killed before they lynch more townies. But "the game shouldn't be balanced around throwers", as some people say, so I guess this is still a good idea.

I don't really like the witch change. First, because it would be really unfair to Tis, since they wouldn't be able to trust their results anymore. Secondly, because it would make it harder for evils to contact the witch who controlled them. In my opinion, was witches need is having their goal changed to "survive to see the town dissapear", so once all town members are dead she gets a message telling her she won (if she is alive) and only has to wait until the game ends, even if she dies. Witches should also be notified when they are doused, so they are more likely to side with arsonists if they know they aren't doused. And their barrier should protect them from other evils with powerful attack (since other NK have no reason to want the witch dead), but not from vigilantes. If the vigi managed to scumread the witch, he deserves to kill her.

About the NK buffs, the problem is that nerfing escorts even more would make them useless. The problem with escorts is that either they are pretty much useless or they are completely gamebreaking once they found the NK/only MK. But since escorts can't tell wheter they roleblocked the arsonist or not, I don't think that is needed. Some buff that would be nice for arsos in my opinion is letting them know who they doused in case they were controlled or had their target transported, and also making them auto ignite if they douse the last player, just like a hex master. This would also save everyone some time instead of having to wait 2 more days while the arso douses and ignites the last player.
And I agree that roleblockers shouldn't know they died to the sk they visited, which already happens with ww. Maybe they could also have the ability to delete the will of whoever roleblocked them, but I'm not sure about that.
