Woot Woot! I am surprised I even got 1st place. I really liked 2nd and 3rd place overall stories. It had a different twist to theirs that I really liked. Thank you for making such an amazing competition!!!!

They were already given out. The top three overall were the ones to receive. Arckas made a communication error regarding it in the main post.

Oh. I thought I was getting town points for finishing in 3rd for 2 roles, but apparently that's a no.

Oh well, I already have thousands of town points anyways (I haven't spent any since the bozo house came out and have played a lot of games since).

Umm...

Were none of mine considered? Escort only had two submissions shown, but I definitely submitted something for that category?

Well, here are my two submissions. I'd like feedback from anyone willing to read them.

Lookout
Spoiler: "The Doctor will be in to see you."

That's the last thing he remembered hearing before he woke up in the morning with an IV attached to a vein in his arm and sutures covering a gnarly wound on his abdomen. He grimaced in pain as he repositioned himself to look over at the clock on his bed side table. 9:00AM. He loved staring at the digital clock. Trying to catch the moment when the numbers would change. He felt his wound burning, turning for just a moment to inspect the pain. He looked back at the clock. He had missed it. Now it read 9:01AM.

"I'll catch it at 9:02," he thought to himself. "I can't lose focus."

That's when it hit him.

"The town meeting!" he remembered. "I have to let them know!"

He stumbled out of bed, pulling the IV with him. Hobbling each step of the way.

He hurried as quickly as he could to open the door. Shouting out, "I FOUND THE WEREWOLF!" in pure excitement.

But when he opened the door to gaze at the day, his shouts were met with silence. Almost everyone was gone. Torn to pieces. A bloody mess.

He watched one-by-one as his friends were pronounced dead. The Doctor. The Investigator. The Transporter. Surveying the scene, he found one last figure standing.

"I know," she said with a haughty smile.

"Oh no," he lamented. Falling into a pile on his doorstep. "Not you! Anyone but you!"

"Good game," replied the Werewolf.

And that was all she had to say.

Escort
Spoiler: The phone rang.

"Hi. Is this...?"

"POP!" went the sound of Felicia's gum as she popped her a big bubble over her lips."I charge $250 an hour. Full payment upfront. I recommend the full night; you won't be able to take your eyes off me."

"Just wanna warn you, I've been having a rough week. There's been construction going on outside my house every morning, and I feel like I'm going crazy. I need someone to distract me nice and good..." He paused. "$250 an hour for the full package, eh? You better be worth it."

She could sense the hesitation. "Don't you worry, babe. You'll get exactly what you need. When I'm done with you, you won't even remember your momma's name. Gimme ten minutes to doll up and I'll be right over."

"POP!" went her gum as she snapped her phone shut.

Felicia had been through this routine many times before. She was an artist. Watching her apply that perfect cat's eye flick with her eyeliner was like watching a fisherman giving one last tug on that prized salmon. She knew exactly how to hook them.

A little tired, but never worse for wear, she slid on her silky red dress and gave one last pout of her scarlet stained lips. "Perfect," she whispered to herself, settling into that husky voice that made all the townies drool when she came to their doors.

She glanced one last time at her address book and was off on her way.

"DING DONG!"

He opened the door, a grin on his face.

"POP!" went her gum. Pinching it, pulling on it, and teasing it around her finger.

"Hey there big boy. Mind if I come in?"

She stepped into his home, not even waiting for an answer.

"POP!" went his gun, as the Serial Killer shot her dead.

I think your issue was you didn't describe your role of the characters. In the rules, it stated, "Must describe a person and how they are that role today." You made an excellent story, but didn't really describe how that role came to be today or describe what really motivated them as Escort or Lookout. Story wise it was executed perfectly with dialogue and probs. It really captivated me and made me want to read morel. That's just my guess though. I could be totally wrong.

This event has ended.
Sing something new, I have nothing left,
I can't face the dark without

There's nothing left to lose, the fight never ends,
I can't face the dark without

Holding the hand that holds me down.
I forgive you, forget you,

So they aren't going to be featured in the role page that the 1rst place winners won in? like the 1rst place for medium won't have their story on the Medium role page? Or is it going to be there later?

It would only be the top, top 3 (the ones award TP). You would have to ask/PM Arckas on what is going on with that, as I forget.
