[BUG] Incorrect bullet message for Vampire Hunter turned Vig

I was Vampire Hunter, and killed all the Vampires during Night 6 and I turned into Vigilante Day 7.

In the same Day 7 I was hanged. While dead I still expected to see “You have 1 bullet left” displayed in night time just like for dead Vigs/GA or Jailor etc. (a nice addition that I don’t mind). Yet, what appeared was the message “You have put your gun away for killing a town member”, which is incorrect because I never have a chance to shoot anyone in the first place, let alone hitting a Townie.

It might just be a visual bug that really didn’t matter when I already die, but I’m unsure that, had I was alive, I might have not been able to shoot my one bullet, or even worse, be forced to die from guilt even when I didn’t shoot anyone. So that’s might be worth looking into.

The screenshot you gave was from night 4, do you have one from the conversion from VH to Vig on d7?

I don’t have one sadly, but you can tell from the role list and the name that it’s the same game.

I could tell, but you migh have been converted on day 5 or 6 and used the shot earlier.

Fair enough. I’m 100% sure that I was turned Day 7 though.
There were 2 VH kills during Night 6: I staked A and B the youngest visited me and die, and I turned Vig. Tracker tracked B and saw him visited me and thought I was converted, that was the reason why Town lynch me right at Day 7.
