I've tried numerous times to log in to my account to no avail, receiving this error each time. I have confirmed that both my username and password are correct. I have restarted my device, re-installed the game, and reset my password.
Tech stuff:
App sideloaded onto Kindle Fire 5th gen.

Currently on version 1.5.1.3577.

Well we don't support Kindles so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it was a Kindle exclusive issue.
