Mobile game choppy

Ever since the new update the game has been choppy for me like if I do certain actions like open up the chat logs the game will freeze for like 4 seconds and then unfreeze idk if this is just me but I just want to know and it's super annoying cause I can't talk as fast as I used to and it's really affecting my gameplay
